I like the information, but the icons are kind of large. For guns charge loaded and tracking speed would be nice too.

Get a bigger monitor... that will make the icon smaller :P

Oh that... well, in the hangar it would not account for skills, implants, ship bonuses, etc ... me thinks

The amount of damage that a crystal has taken shouldn't require any of that. They start out at 0.0 damage, and have a chance to take .00025 damage each time you fire. Once it hits 1.0 damage it breaks and you have to get a new one. (Just like Mining Crystals)

Ohhhhhhh I... *THAT*. ... don't know...haven't fire at anything... let me shoot something.

lol, yes that. It's always seemed like a HUGE oversight to me that you have to equip it and go into space just to see how much damage a crystal has taken.

I should be able to just hover over one in my cargo hold, and see they have .95 damage, and then go buy some new ones.

Although, that would be a separate tooltip I suppose, not part of the hud.

Man, hugely good change that I didn't even consider

Well played, CCP

Hello, hello again.

Like many of the recent UI changes, this one is pretty and has a nice perk or two (showing optimal), but takes up more space, showing absolutely no consideration for the fact that screen real estate is the most valuable commodity in EVE.

Except the fact that it IS a temporary tool tip, and doesn't take up any screen real estate until you do a mouse over. That's kind of it's point.

I do agree there should be a delay on it popping up, say a couple of seconds, to avoid it popping up when you don't want it to.

It could seriously stand a more Sci Fi look as well.

Yes it does...

Here you see the radio and here you see the multi. :D

When your modules are damaged, there will be a red text below the module name that says "x% damaged" and if the ammo is damaged, there will be text like that below the ammo name and it will say "0.x damaged".
That is the reason why the tooltips are kind of tall, there are 2 lines for each element in the tooltip and they need some breathing room to be clear

Do the icons scale with the rest of the UI, I'm assuming that they do, but I thought it's worth asking.

That looks awesome. I would love to see damage type on there for projectiles at least, but I understand it quickly get crowded on that cute little tooltip.javascript.

I think this is a great addition and makes determining optimal damages and ranges a lot more intuitive. Are there any plans to add tracking to this tooltip?

Soon we will also want our latest RL bank account balances on the tool tip, maybe a caller ID too... and a timer indicating the last time we drank red bull.
