Hello now that you have shown the players of eve your 20th expansion and a good looking one I must say when will you be mirroring Sisi and adding RUBICON on it so that us eve players can get to test and play with this expansion

like the look of the new SOE faction ships and with the new buildings will they be seeded from stations or will we get blueprints to build them our self and would like to see how the golem will look in seige

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

For the love of god, CCP has stated at least 5 times in the last month that YOU WILL KNOW when they are going to mirror when they know.

The information released/hinted at sounds fascinating.

Well, everything except the ship rebalancing, because CCP massively dropped the ball on Marauders (and in fact has been doing so since T1 battleships).

Have you looked at the stats of the proposed Marauders? The bonuses? How absolutely unfocused all of their ranges are?

Take for example the Golem.

MJD: 100km.
Cruise missiles: ~140km (Don't bother with torpedoes- they're inferior in almost every way to cruise missiles at this point).
-Tractor beams: 40km.
-Stasis webifiers: 10-15km (And the Golem already has a goddamn painter bonus- what's the point? Seriously? This is redundant and stupid!)
Bastion module: Makes your ship stationary.

What the hell? There's NO synergy here. Unless of course CCP is banking on people just slapping literally everything onto Marauders so that they're only functional when they're stationary, and even then utterly fail to really be USEFUL.

I do not want these changes to happen. At all. We don't need a "King of PvE" class of ships- we need changes to PvE, and we need ships that have a distinct role for T2. Such as... Perhaps, fast skirmisher battleships. The logical extension of the Attack battleships (which the Marauder hulls are based on).

Essentially, you have two more months to use your various Marauders. Afterwards, Marauders as you know them will cease to exist, and in their place will be an utter disastrophe that probably won't sell for the same sort of price you bought it for. I'm going to miss my Golem, and am kicking myself for putting SP into the Marauders skill.

HELP, my golem which can still be used like it was before the patch is getting buffed. WTF CCP why you let my golem have 90k torp range and have massive local tank. And halving the cycle time on target painters, what kind of stuff you pulling here. This is too much quality of life stuff for one expansion. It almost like your letting us choose whether we want a close range web brawler or sniper that can mjd every minute to escape.

Let me count the ways in which the new Golem will not resemble the current Golem.

1. Active tanking bonus is flat out gone.

2. You NEED the bastion module active in order to have some semblance of a powerful local active tank.

3. Bastion mode makes you stationary. Huge tactical disadvantage.

4. Torpedoes are a joke, don't use them- cruise missiles barely need a target painter to kill things most of the time now, and the difference in DPS between torpedoes and cruise missiles (Fury cruise missiles do roughly 940 DPS with my skills), considering damage application and range differences, means that you lose almost nothing in choosing cruise missiles. Which will be hitting at ~140km WITHOUT the bastion module.

5. Point number 4 makes the Stasis Webifier bonus utterly irrelevant on the Golem, not to mention the fact that it already has a goddamn target painter bonus. What's the point? I thought T2 ships were supposed to be specialized, not "specializing into being a generalist"? That doesn't make any sense.

6. Combined mass nerf and velocity nerf. All Marauders are having their masses significantly increased. This kills the AB fits, and the MWD fits (which were already dead in the water due to the obscene capacitor usage of 100MN MWDs of all colours). Throw on top of that the fact that the Golem's new base speed is 85m/s and you get... Something that can only fit a MJD. Lame.

Read the thread. You will not be able to fly the Rubicon Golem as you can the Current Golem. They are almost entirely different ships at this point, save for the tractor beams, target painters and missile usage. You will not be able to "choose between a close range web brawler or a long range sniper". The Sniper is more or less the only viable setup for the Golem as I can see because it's mobility is nil unless you have a MJD on (which is more or less the only valid prop mod on the new Marauders because of their awful mobility). The "brawler" will barely be a brawler. It'll be stationary and it's targets will slowly drift away from it into ranges that benefit them most. These changes are nonsense and should be revised, heavily. And they sure as hell don't have any of the traits that immediately come to mind when I hear the word 'marauder'.

I agree with some of the points (especially the lack of synergy, though versatility might be the intention), but the tank issue is debatable. At present the idea is that the Marauders will gain a true T2 resist profile (currently this isn't the case), and so the chances are that the reduction in local tank pre-Bastion won't be substantially nerfed depending on the fit. The increased resists will also make them more useful in a fleet with remote reps, though activating the Bastion module would then take the ship out of the remote rep chain completely so... yeah that's going to take some thinking about when fitting it.

I'm eager to get my hands on them and run through a few fits based on scenarios, but I imagine they at least won't be predictable.

it will LOOSE THE 7,5% sb bonus replaced by a flat 30% from bastion (is 7,5% less)
it will have SAME RESIS ( golem now is 0% and 50%,it'll get 0 and 50%, Alvus Queen thanks you) (Against Drone that's all that matter, T2 resis helps in pvp but in pve depend on rats)

So i've trained a PVE boat, you know, for PVE! Why the hell I've to find myself in a pvp boat??

90 km torps... 25% + means roughly 45 Km with rage 80 with jav... and why the hell use jav instead of cruise? Torp with 3 painter are still effective if you use rage, and only rage, and you are in a region where rats BS orbit around 10 km (eg. Drone patrol anoms)

Just shut up, Golem will be an AWSOME FAIL!

In fact it is our goal to have a build running on Sisi this coming Monday with some Rubicon goodies for you to try out and give us feedback on. Hi,

I would like to suggest one change to allow more ppl to participate in tests: each cloned to Sisi account should have 3-5 mln undistributed SP added.
That way virtually everyone will be able to participate in "mass test" of new feature/ship/module and wider feedback will return.
