Why was the additional asset search fields removed??? That's terribly bad!

Before Crucible we could search based on several criteria in our assets.

Not being able anymore to search for quantities is a really really bad decision. It affects traders and haulers at least. Having a lot of assets in several stations and looking where one has a sufficient amount worth trading or hauling was important. Now one has to look through EVERY station to pick the important ones out and it makes it a lot more difficult, by not being able to filter just by those.

There was no reason to remove existing functionality like this, please get them back into the interface, they was extremely useful!

It's still possible to filter, however it's text based filtering for now. More information about the assets search can be found here.

The asset search actually has a lot more flexibility and search criteria than before. Smile

How that? Can i filter by quantities? I can't.

When hauling is involved and I have to check where I have minimum quantities to make it worthwhile, I have to check through the whole list of stations now. I can't filter them by a specific quantity range and sort them at the same time by jumps now. If I sort in the regional view by quantities, I again don't have them in the order of closest stations and systems.

There was a feature removed, that was extremely useful and there seem no reason to do so.
"Don't change what isn't broken" says an unwritten developer's rule.

Now the asset window gets often even stuck when undocking, means everything disappears and you can't click on anything on it anymore as it won't react on your clicks, until you close and re-open it. This makes it worse, as often one keeps stations of relevance expanded and they are gone frequently now.

So, maybe I don't understand it, but could you please explain how that is better now?

Ok, I didn't had seen this new blog yet, I only remembered one that mentioned it was changed (or was it the patchnotes?).

That is some improvement for sure, but I believe it needs some link or something into the interface pointing at this, otherwise nobody will know or can even imagine, as the search box says "Search Text" and not "Query" or something like that.

I see I can search also by how many in stack there. So it's good, ignore my previous post :)

Though there's room for improvement here, writing out like "min:1000" or so each time gets tiring. Either an advanced expandable view allowing more options would be here positive or the ability to store queries as filters.

Or simpler with functionality already in the client: Have a history dropdown for the search box.

It should have a history, like a web browser, however I noticed with all the patching/client crashing the history has gotten wiped a few times.
