So basicly the IGB can handle HTML 4.01 and css3 sweet.
It doesn't have plugins and has limited javascript methods.

Does this mean that javascript is disabled save those methods for interacting with the client?

Would I be able to make a twitter like feed that updates in real time work with the IGB?

What do you need to do to make interactive applications with the IGB?

Is it possible to access the IGB DOM? and if so how?

I'm familiar with javascript, html/css, and php. Will learn how to AJAX and JQuery soon. Are there other languages I'll need to learn?

You can use javascript just like in any regular webbrowser. Functions for interacting with the client are provided additionally to the standard functions.

"How"? LOL

All of this is works, but be ready that it would look like a piece of .... So a lot of things of css is unsupported and CCP (as far as I know) will not support them. They don't care, "all is fine, we gave you browser - be happy".

So you can create cool stuff BUT it will be (looks like) ugly.

Just try and you will see. I'm not html-coder to describe all issues. Simple example use bootstrap 3.x and you will see. There is a huge difference between OG and IG browser.

A lot of hooks is not working, etc, etc, etc... I cannot say what is not working (even ccp cannot ). What?

Added: And some of them ARE REALLY UGLY! Simple example border-radius, sometimes it's not working AT ALL, why? Who knows, but when it works - "my eyes is burning"... LOL

I'm not using any frameworks(teaching myself web development) so I shouldn't have any problems as long as css3 works.

Some parts of css3 are supported, some are not (border-radius and gradients for exemple are not supported).

I have succesfully used html5 canvas in the IGB .
