Best ship for soloing a Vindicator?

How does one solo kill a Vindicator pilot who is decked out with faction mods? His blasters, webs, scram, neut & armor are all faction. Assuming he has no backup or links, what ship and tactic would defeat him the easiest?

A bhaalgorn would be easy but its not that simple. A half decent vindi pilot should understand that a bhaalgorns neuts will destroy him and thus not fight one. So what you need is a battleship with enough tank to survive whilst some energy neuts cap him out making his guns worthless. Ideally they want to use mostly drone DPS due to this freeing up highslots.

I recommend either a Dominix or an Armageddon hull. Fit with a large armour buffer tank and energy neuts in the highslots. Mids slots use tackle [obviously] and some cap injectors.

If you are feeling even more meta, any battleship with say 6/7 lowslots and 125m3 of bandwisth would do that job and be even harder for the enemy to anticipate. There are multiple battleships that can do this.

Pretty solid advice. Thanks a lot.

Get a titan and DD him.

Post with your NPC alt main and not your main main alt!

Carrier.

Otherwise, battery ham tengu is a free win cause you permatank him forever and you will slowly drive him out of cap charges.

A friendship. Soloing a ship capable of applying dread level dps to even the smallest ships is not going to be easy, it will take a similar fit.

I would say a dead space fit t3 cruiser would show some promise, but anything that can out and out beat it will be avoided. A well organized group of t1 cruisers could do it, but you need to bait and trap.

You are asking a funny question, because soloing a vindi is going to be hard if you can't get it to engage or commit to the fight. And anything that can easily solo it will not be a fight it will commit to.

The vindi pilot is perfectly aware of most of these variables and it will require a lot more than brute force to get what you want.

try a regengu

Domination Nephilim - Angel Cartel

Calm down miner. As you pointed out, people think they can get away with stuff they would not in rl... Like for example illegal mining... - Ima Wreckyou*

energy neuts + drones looks like a good way to get killed - you're applying your 600 dps and the vindi is applying it's 2000 even if it's 1 cap booster at a time - that's like 50 seconds to chew through your 100k buffer tank, keep in mind vindi also has 5 heavies which don't stop just because vindi is ooc.

Typhoon Fleet Issue, can hit the lowest resist with very high DPS, drones, neuts and a big tank to boot.

This is my standard counter to Vindi's

Neut Geddon be decent option. I think he would run from a bhaalgorn or anything he can't kill too fast

I'd second this. It juicy enough for a vindi to engage and it has a decent chance of killing one, especially if fitted to counter it.
