The Graduates [TGRAD]: PvP Focused Megacorp

The Initiative.
#1 - 2011-09-14 22:38:03 UTC  |  Edited by: Ronan Teisdari
TGRAD recruitment is open!

"The Graduates” [TGRAD] was started by instructors, staff, directors, and graduate students from "Eve University" in Fall 2006. We earned a reputation as a scrappy and strong-willed corporation by living and fighting in Pure Blind (EC-P8R), the Drone regions, Syndicate, Fountain, Tribute, Delve, Curse and currently Tenal. We have expanded into a highly skilled and expertly organized corp with wide time-zone coverage (US/Euro/Oceanic).

  • Are you looking for a corporation where the members are mature, good natured, generous friends, and hard fighters?
  • Are you tired of the typical meta-gaming, back-stabbing, and smacking in PvP alliances that populate EvE currently?
  • Are you a seasoned empire player who wants to try out 0.0 space and PvP, or be part of a corporation that helps to guide players new to 0.0?
  • Are you a player who wishes to broaden their game and play experience with responsive leadership and no corporate/alliance tyranny?

Then join "The Graduates" corporation!

  • Sportsmanship in victory and defeat. (No smacking, chest beating, or whining.)
  • Fair play in gaming. (No exploiters, scammers).
  • Tough sheriff at home, good citizen abroad. (NBSI in 0.0, NRDS in lowsec).
  • Good friend to friends. Killer of Killers. (Honorable diplomatic relations & anti-piracy).
  • All-for-one, and one-for-all. Everyone fights.

What are the advantages of joining "The Graduates"?

  • We are a large megacorp, with high activity and strong esprit d'corp.
  • Strongly PvP focused with a generous PvP ship replacement policy.
  • Large capital ship fleet, including supers.
  • Access to "The TGRAD Store", an ship and modules shopping experience.. only for TGRAD members.
  • Access to high-end ores for mining, and high value npc's for ratting/plexing.
  • No Forced mining ops & no corporation slavery.

What do we ask of members joining “The Graduates”?

  1. 15M SP minimum (may be waived for qualified Eve University graduates & those sponsered by current TGRADs)
  2. A positive, friendly and mature attitude; smacking 1337s need not apply
  3. No offensive and/or foul language, bad behavior or illicit content
  4. Participation in corp/alliance events
  5. Expected to be polite and helpful to any member of TGRAD and Alliance mates at ALL times
  6. Must be able to at least fly a Stealth Bomber, such as:

I as in E UNI, made it to the Sophmore requirments. I left to join RvB. Do I have to have the "graduate" title under my belt. Currently passing 10 mil SP. Still interested in TGRADS

If you think you have what it takes, go a head and apply.

The SP requirement, is mainly so people have the skills to fly ships relevant to 0.0 space.

But, SP's have nothing to do with the drive to live in 0.0, as we've had 5M sp players thrive and grow nicely. And we've had 100M SP toons just fall flat.

Any kind of expectations for activity? RL schedule is pretty hectic, so I'm usually on only a couple nights per week.

We are pretty casual, but we do use an active monitoring matrix to measure participation, like forum/ts participation and kills per month for example.

If you don't meet it, we let you know so you can decide if you can push it up or if you need to take a break.

I'll put it like this, say our kills per month is 50 minimum. You can get those 50 kills during a single fleet fight on a weekend.

It really is what you make of it.
