Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

Not my words, but appropriate.

Words cannot express the depth of this loss to both his family and friends, and to this community.

Fly safe, VR.

RIP Vile Rat.

Can't say much of anything that hasn't already been said. Always shoot blues.

The best advice I can give any Eve player, new or old, is to never ever ever read the general discussion subforum. It is a cancer on this game and should just be deleted.

I didn't know him, but sure he is one part of EvE. We all are. And we are missing a brother right now.

Requiescat in pace, thanks for your services to the community.

All the best to his family and friends.

This news has left me really saddened. My condolences to Sean's family and his friends, in EVE and without.

Sad news to hear, condolences to the family left behind. Always a bit shocking when the craziness of make-believe-spaceships gets so horribly impacted by the insanity of real world extremism to the detriment of all.

This wasn't the loss of a Goon or some internet mafia man, this was the loss of someone known and highly respected across New Eden. Despite my concerns about Goons et all, this should never have happened, and its an absolute tragedy that it did.

I hope those responsible are brought to justice quickly, and dealt punishment slowly.

I hope his family is getting all the support it can from not only their real world fellows, but from us, the Eve player base.

And I hope that a PLEX drive comes up to keep his family (wife and two kids) strong and on their feet, as proposed in past threads.

Rest in Peace Sean Smith. Fly well, safe, and free beyond the stars. o7

Rest in Peace Sean Smith, you have been a constant name in this game as long as I have played, and it will be a poorer place without you.

I didn't know him personally, but I've been fighting goons for years. His actions have likely provided most of the fun i've had in this game.

Its a shame people can't work out their differences without resorting to killing random people.

Condolences to the family.
