So... it's been over 6 months since we ended the EIE project. There was a lot of drama over the 2 months the project ran and we all learned a lot. Looking back its actually a pretty hilarious story of naivety, misplaced trust and greed.

ANYWAY, that's not what this is about. A month or so ago the subscriber website we were hosting the videos on went down and we just noticed recently. We had promised to keep the video content available to subscribers after the project closed and considering that its been a long time anyway we've decided to post all the videos on youtube to both subscribers and the general public. Some of this content was already released publicly but some of it will be new, unless you were a subscriber. There aren't any plans to make more of these but consider these a resource for small gang and solo pvp. Descriptions and links to the videos are below.

Introductory Trailer Video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WbFtAjvQxrg

Video 1 - Opportunity Kills (Gang):http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T-drwPewXrU
Video Content: Garmon explains how to get kills off of a gang that is not directly engageable. Skirmish links are used but the concepts do not require them.

Video 2 - Engaging a Camp (Small Gang):http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HNUqk3t3PGI
Video Content: Duncan explains some of the strategies behind successfully jumping into and engaging a larger camp. The combination of target fleet composition, P3E-Obe being a regional gate and skirmish links help make this engagement possible.

Video 3 - Initiation and Setting up Engagements (Solo):http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3knciFd8xsY
Video Content: Willl talks about the importance of setting up an engagement and shows that how you decide to start an engagement can decide the outcome of a fight. Armor links are used.

Video 4 - Shield Rupture in 0.0 (Solo):http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zkvDDCpDjo
Video Content: Garmon flies a solo unlinked and unscouted shield rupture through null sec. He talks about the ship and shows some of the things you can do with it.

Video 5 - Killing Tackle and On-Grid Separation (Solo):http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WlsvuSi7KlA
Video Content: Willl flies a solo unlinked/unscouted wolf and talks about how to separate targets to create engageable situations.

Video 6 - Scouting and Directional Scanning (Solo):http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPiHuLMfHHc
Video Content: Duncan flies a vigil and talks about how to scout both for yourself and a gang, find targets and use the directional scanner. An article written by Duncan on scouting can be found here: http://pastebin.com/NGQyyVa7

Video 7- Shield Talos in 0.0 (Solo):http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cqGNElFYp9I
Video Content: Garmon flies a solo unlinked and unscouted shield talos through null sec. He talks about the ship and shows some of the things you can do with it.

Video 8 - Armor Myrmidon in 0.0 (Solo):http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TcRAx-uwk40
Video Content: Willl flies a solo unlinked and unscouted armor myrmidon through null sec. He talks about the ship and shows some of the things you can do with it.

Video 9 - Small Gang Fight, Alignment and Positioning (Small Gang):http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-pUP_PtZkXc
Video Content: Duncan talks about a small gang engagement against some local residents of a dead end pocket. The focus of the video is about the importance of using a common align out and positioning to support your gang mates. Skirmish links are used but the concepts explained do not require them.

Video 10 - Artillery Hurricane in 0.0 (Solo):http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XaY_sn4JHJ8
Video Content: Garmon flies a solo unlinked and unscouted artillery hurricane through null sec. He talks about the ship and shows some of the things you can do with it.

Video 11 - Dual Thorax (Duo Gang):http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zYhIitwOcuw
Video Content: Garmon and Willl fly max tank/max gank fitted thoraxes unlinked/unscouted and use various techniques to manipulate targets into shooting the tanky thorax allowing the other thorax to deal damage. This allows them to take on engagements they couldn't with two standard fits.

Video 12 - Small Gang Communication (Small Gang):http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ZChXijPovk
Video Content: Duncan describes the importance of communication in a small gang and how it differs from the dynamic in large fleets. Skirmish links are used but the concepts do not require them.

Video 13 - Enyo in 0.0 (Solo):http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PVzpZHkwag8
Video Content: Guest contributor Zach Donnell flys a solo unlinked/unscouted enyo through null sec. He talks about the ship and shows some of the things you can do with it.

Video 14 - Small Gang Fight Initiation (Small Gang):http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uy_zBq-e-lI
Video Content: Duncan discusses some of the things to think about when trying to initiate a fight as a small gang and gives a brief aside about dealing with cloaking interdictor camps. Skirmish links are used but the concepts do not require them.

Video 15 - Armor Zealot (Solo):http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnJT9-9A7ag
Video Content: Garmon flies a solo unlinked/unscouted zealot through 0.0 and discusses how the ship works, some mechanics and the decision making process in solo engagements.

Video Content: Duncan talks about positioning and communication during engagements. Duncan also discusses the small gang composition used, the decisions made during the fight and dead end pockets as they relate to roaming. Skirmish links are used but the concepts do not require them.

Duncan describes some of the characteristics of station systems and discusses some important things to think about while initiating the fight and during the fight itself. Links are used but the concepts do not require them.

Video 18 - Fighting Against Logistics (Duo Gang):http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJf5CLJ1Q8g
Video Content: Willl and Duncan fight against a small gang with two logistics ships. Duncan explains how it can be possible to fight against gangs with logistics where you can't break the reps. Links are used but the concepts do not require them.

Video 19 - Escalating Fights (Small Gang):http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s77y1IlfU9g
Video Content: Duncan explains how to escalate engagements to keep them going as well as a general discussion of gang management, decision making and target calling. Links are used but the concepts do not require them.

Video 20 - Taking Advantage of Complacency and Disorganization (Small Gang):http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iuYj-9zmtXk
Video Content: Duncan talks about taking advantage of disorganized targets that wouldn't be engageable if they were more organized. A general discussion of gang management and decision making is also given. Links are used and for a fight like this would be required.

Will watch the ones that are newly released to the public, thanks for making them available.

You gents are talented and EIE could have been a massive success had you done something more along the lines of publishing the content freely and making cash off advertisements or some such instead of a subscription cost. Was sad when you guys introduced the 'paywall' barrier to your content, and sad when you stopped producing it all together.

I guess what I'm trying to say was that it's great informative stuff, and is well worth the time it takes to watch it, however it's not quite worth actual cash.

I always enjoyed the content that you produced, I just had issues with your "business" (heavy sarcasm there) partner. Thank you for posting these videos. It's a shame to see the combination of ATX and EIE cause you guys to stop playing. I hope that you get back into it. GL, Genos.

I like Duncan!

The link for Video 15 was missing but has now been added. Videos 4 and 11 are probably the most relevant to the latest expansion changes.

So the people that payed for the premium content....have now payed for nothing but early access?

Dont get me wrong I quite liked the content, it was pretty good but being fair, the way it was marketed was a complete scam.

We also regularly scheduled roams with them and gave pvp related advice on whatever they wanted through a private in game channel and member's forums. In the end, everyone was refunded anyway unless they didn't want their money back.

Thanks for posting these. I recall the stink around the premium content, and don't really want to rehash it.

I am curious however, as I see that http://www.eveiseasy.com/ is still active and seems to be promoting content. Is this you guys? Is it legit?

I seem to recall an issue with the eveiseasy.com domain when all the crap went down.

Thanks.

It's not us. Abaddon owns the domain and is using the brand to promote his own stuff I guess, we don't have anything to do with it anymore. The only content from us is what's in this thread and on the youtube channel.

Thanks. That is kind of what I remembered.

Easily one of, if not the best resource currently available for anyone who wants to take their flying to a level above the average "turn on weapons and press orbit on the target" skill level of EVE's population.

It's really fantastic to see all this extra content released. I'm sure I'll learn a lot from it.

Hi!

Thanks for the videos, the footage is very good and educational, but I have to point out though,

you really MUST work on your vocal presentation.

You sound very dull and monotonous to put it bluntly.

Just need to work on that and you'll be all good!

Best of luck on your future endeavours
