Part satirical review, part history lesson, mostly purile, this tongue-in-cheek look at "a day in the life of a grounded pod pilot" pokes fun at CCP Games and some of their developmental mis-steps, whilst celebrating the community and the people involved with EVE Online.

I hope you enjoy it.

  • To celebrate the "launch" of this triple-Z title, I'm running a treasure hunt with several 50m ISK prizes up for grabs. For details, check out:

  • Captain's Quarters Treasure Hunt “Live Event” With Prizes on Freebooted. Win up to 300m ISK.

  • If you're interested in how and why I made this game, check out my introductory article on GameSkinny:

  • Building a Game from Twine and Amniotic Fluid

  • There, I plan to write more on my "development process" (haha) if folk are interested.

Anyway, most importantly, enjoy. Let me know what you think.

[Note to forum admins: couldn't decide whether this should go in EVE Fiction, Out-of-Game Events, My EVE, EVE Technology Lab or Features and Ideas Discussion (trololol). Happy to be moved as appropriate.]

I already loved "Incarna: The Text Adventure" back then...

    PLEASE MAKE MORE!

Also makes me feel nostalgic about all those great Infocom adventures...

In gotta say, I only clicked on this thread because I thought the name Seismic Stan was somehow quite funny.
Stupidity should be a bannable offense.

I'd love to do more and have some exciting ideas. We'll see how much uptake and interest there is.

Thanks for the support though, it makes it all worthwhile. :)

Hey, it is funny (and often misread as Seismic Stain, which is even funnier).

You are standing in an open hanger west of someone's Captian's Quarters with a boarded front hatch.

There is a small cargo container here.

Thanks very much for all the positive and encouraging comments. If there's a demand, I'd love to do more and have several ideas I'd like to try out, time and resources permitting.

Awesome game, there's quite a few people around the office who've been chuckling as they've tried it out Big smile
