Hi Hello my name is BadAssMcKill. I'm a strong independent PVPer who don't need no coalition and I'd like to announce that I will be running for this year's CSM.

I've been playing for 2 years now and while I may be a bit younger compared to some of the other candidates, I feel like I've tried a lot of what Eve has to offer in that time while not succumbing to the bittervet syndrome.

I am first and foremost a PVPer, while I've done missions, Incursions ,and manufacturing most of my experience is in PVP. I've done everything from solo and small gang to laggy blobfests, from interceptors to dreadnoughts. Most of my time has been spent in Love Squad [WOMYN], a corporation formerly in Confederation of xXPIZZAXx and best known for its bomber shenanigans and skirmishing against TEST and TRIBE in the past year.

Apart from obvious issues such as POS and SOV mechanics that everyone feels strongly about, I'd like CCP to focus on the following.

  • Improving on tiercide/rebalance efforts , for example taking another look at the cruiser rebalance or the more recent RML rebalance. Iteration iteration iteration!

  • Push for a module tiercide. There's basically no reason for some meta modules to exist right now!

  • Removal or a further decrease on the cost of clones. When getting podded without implants costs you more than a cruiser, it’s a little lame.

  • Introduce areas of NPC nullsec into regions without them. ideally more regions should have a few NPC nullsec systems. This would allow small raiding alliances to more easily harass the locals as well as potentially create more small-scale conflicts rather than everyone waiting on The Big War™ every few months.

  • Smaller objective based PVP. While I can't say that I'm a fan of the ESS it seems to have a habit of attracting fights. Structures with less EHP or shorter timers would be nicer.

  • Larger region gaps. I feel that currently capital ship jump range is fairly balanced at a local scale. This change would serve to increase travel time across the universe while leaving local travel much the same. Combined with more pockets of NPC space like mentioned above, it could do wonders for small-scale conflicts! Power projection on the whole needs a good looking at though, but that’s so closely tied with sovereignty mechanics that it’s a little difficult to outright fix.

  • Improve PVE content, especially missions. In addition perhaps a rework of Incursions now that so many people run them and how easy it is to ragekill the Kundalini. PVE content could be fun by itself instead of being something you more often than not do half-afk only to see your wallet balance grow one digit larger.

  • Space Volcanoes, we need Volcanoes. In space.

Thank you for reading! Feel free to ask me questions here, or through Eve Mail.

even if badass wasn't my corpmate and a good friend I would be voting for him and you should too. He has a wide breadth of experience in nullsec and a fair amount in lowsec, and is new enough to be grounded and not be a jaded cynic spouting the "eve is terrible!" bullshit. he actually plays the game and plays it pretty well.

A vote for badassmckill is a vote for a CSM who understands the game and its playerbase

Badassmckill is a cool dude and would be a great CSM.

He has a very in-depth knowledge of both smaller scale PVP, and has participated in large fleet fights too, in Lowsec, Nullsec, and Highsec.

I actually really like pretty much everything you've said. I wanted to know your thoughts on "farms and fields." I've wanted CCP to introduce lowsec/FW aspects into 0.0 to give small gang fleets in nul a more impactful purpose.

Also being a bomber pilot myself...no bombs in lowsec? wtf is that!

Allowing smaller gangs to have a bigger impact on sov is definitely something that CCP should be looking at, however I don't think doing it through the current FW mechanics is the way to go.

As for bombing in lowsec in my experience, to bomb effectively you need bubbles. Allowing people to bomb and bubble in lowsec basically means lowsec is now NPC nullsec however without the bubbles bombs would be an ineffective tool.

Well I wouldn't go for straight FW mechanics in 0.0, just take some of the aspects and modify them to a unique 0.0 flavor.

As for bombing in lowsec, I wouldn't also want bubbles, just the bombs. Bubbles make bombing easier but not completely necessary. The first wave hits in 10 seconds and the second wave several seconds later, that may give enough time for the ships to warp away. But throwing in a batch of void bombs in the first wave will cut off their capacitor in 7.5 and the following waves will land damage. (This is more for other readers as I'm sure you know this) So personally I think having bombs but no bubbles situation in low sec can create unique interesting possibilities. Nothing ground breaking but still.

Yeah, no. You could just overlap bomb people. :D
Bombs in lowsec would be so awesome. It would take the flair away from it though, the distinction of null and low.

What are your thoughts on a serpentis brutix? This is literally the only thing I will be basing my votes on this year.
