If you've been playing long enough, some of you may remember a blog about Eve called "Just A Girl And Her Thorax". I wrote that blog from shortly after I started playing in 2007 until 2010, with a few gaps along the way as RL required. I also posted to it intermittently when I came back to Eve for a while in 2014.

Well, I'm back again and this time I think I'll be sticking around. "Just A Girl..." is back too, but with a few changes. I can't seem to log in to the old blog, so I used that as an excuse to update things a bit. I've moved it from Blogger to Wordpress and changed the name slightly, for reasons that will become clear if you read the first post. It's still a work in progress but I plan to update regularly. It boasted a pretty good readership back in the day so I'm hoping some will take an interest and check it out. The original blog is still up as well with years worth of posts, including some actually useful information even though it's years old like ship fittings, and advice on how to deal with stuff.

The new blog is "Just A Girl And Her Myrmidon" and can be found at: https://justagirlandhermyrmidon.blog/

Basically, I'll be talking about my adventures in Eve, throw some opinions about the game and other Eve-related stuff in there, and whatever else I think Eve players might want to read. In other words, pretty much just like the old blog. My first post is about how I ended up coming back to Eve as well as some pretty huge in-game surprises I've discovered since I've been back.

I hope you'll check it out and let me know what you think.

Second post is up. In this one I talk a little about what Eve was like when I first started playing in 2007 and why the first time I signed up for a month of game time I left when it was done and didn't come back until a few months later. In some ways, it was very different from the game we play today.

Post the third is now live, in which I discover I still have things to relearn about running high-level missions in this game.
