Two questions, please:

We own Raitaru engineering complex.

1 Is it possible to have Standup Manufacturing Plant module working together with Research Lab module?

or

2 Standup Manufacturing Plant module work together with Inventions module?

I've heard that there are a bug, preventing it...

You have 3 service module slots, so you can fit 3 different service modules, if PG/CPU resources permit. However you have also only 3 rig slots and a super fine grained rig collection which limit the potential for optimized services.

Thanks for the answer, but this is a theory.

The reason of my question is the "rumor" that there are currently a bug, which prevents Industry and Research to be used on one Citadel simultaneously. And the purpose of this thread is to ask ppl, is someone have Citadel with both Industry and Research (or Industry and Invention) running simultaneously?
Or, perhaps, someone might just have knowledge about the bug or bug's absence.

There is no advantage to installing 2 service modules of the same type since you have infinite slots. The capital ship module will not fit in a Raitaru - you need a large or XL structure, The 3 basic service modules - manufacturing, research and invention fit comfortably.

Rigs are a challenge, you have 3 slots so you can't optimize for everything. An option is to build 3 Raitaru in close proximity to each other and fit each with 1 of the basic service modules. That way you can have an structure optimized for research/copying, another optimized for invention and a 3rd optimized for the production categories that are most important to you. Since fuel consumption is determined by the service modules, operating cost is the same as a single structure with 3 service modules. The initial setup is more expensive but shouldn't take too long to recover with the additional rig bonuses.

Thanks again for your answers. Much appreciated.
Idea with multiple Citadels is clear. Thanks.

Would you, please, help me little more with thinking about single citadel variant:
Is that possible to install rigs for only one module and just run another modules without corresponding rigs?

I am considering a Raitaru with manufacturing, research and invention service modules. The nature of my business suggests that component ME, copying and invention rigs will give me the best "bang for my buck". I'm in no rush to build it because my existing POS gives me better bonuses and is a lot less expensive to operate but someday CCP will take it away!

I'm also looking at using public engineering complexes. I already do my research there, but most of the EC's in my part of New Eden either don't have the rigs I want or are located in a system with a ridiculously high system cost index. I don't want facilities scattered over several systems - it's bad enough needing to move stuff between labs/arrays at my POS.

I'll watch what happens over the next several months as CCP iterated on the design. When necessary I'll adapt.

how about my question?

Can't check online atm, but I'm 99% sure there are public ECs with both or three services modules online. Just open your industry window and browse the public citadels in The Forge for example and check their services. If you are still unsure you always can test on SiSi.

Yes - you can install no rigs, 1 rig for each module, 3 rigs for 1 module - complete flexibility. There may be calibration issues with some combinations but I haven't had any issues playing around in the simulator. You will get a small bonus from the structure itself, choose rigs that add the most value for your business. Use the in-game fitting tool in simulation mode to play with fits.

Edit: only 1 rig of each type. i.e. you can have a rig for ME, TE, and copying at the research module but you can't have 2 copying rigs.

I did that. But it won't confirm not denies as everything in range is either stations or Citadels with only one kind of service- Indudstry. I don't see any Industry + something within 25 jumps. Noone in corp answered the question yet. That is why I am asking here:

Is there a bug preventing running Industry + Research(Invention) on one citadel?

MY QUESTION is: is there a bug/no bug.

There is no bug. I know of 1 Raitaru in Fildar that has the Basic Medium Ship Time Efficiency 1, ME Research Accelerator 1 and TE Accelerator 1 installed. Another that is rigged for structure manufacturing and material reclamation (reprocessing).

I haven't seen any yet that combine manufacturing and invention but that combination works in the simulator. If you're worried, simply login to Singularity and test your build.

Jesus christ just go and test it already. You have a very specific question and no one is giving you the answer you want. So hop on singularity and sort it the **** out.

Log in to Sisi.

Type /omega into local.

Type /moveme into local.

Select Jita.

Buy whatever you want in Perimeter for 100isk for anything.

Type /moveme into local.

Select a system.

Deploy, run test.

I can confirm smooth running of a production module and an invention module simultaneously @ a Fortizar. I'm also managing a few Raitarus, but unfortunately none of them have the Production+Invention service combo.. so not exactly the answer you've asked for...

I thought that was your question! Practically every engineering complex in the game has manufacturing, research and/or invention service modules installed. Look at the facilities tab in the industry tool you'll find a bunch of them in any region.

On Singularity there should be a seed station within a few jumps of wherever you are - no need to go to Jita. You can build and test a Raitaru for a few hundred ISK.

Can ORCA be built on Raitaru?
