Factory planet with more than 10km3 resources

I have a couple p2 factory planets, just a launchpad and a bunch of processors. At the moment I can only move 10km3 of p1 onto my planets via the launchpad which means I need to do it every 12 hours or so, so I'm looking at ways to store more input materials on the planet.

What would be the best way to do this? Storage facilities connected up somehow, a second launchpad, something else?

Thanks in advance!
Evictus.

I use multiple launchpads. P3 is returned to the launchpad - it takes up less space than the P2 required to make it. Likewise P4 can be returned to the launchpad. It is bulkier than the P3 but requires less space than the P2 required to make it.

you can transfer materials from the launch pad to a silo via the expedited transfer option under the storage button. Be aware that you can only do this every few hours depending on the volume moved. I have factory planets set up where I have two launch pads and two silots. I transfer from my launch pads to the silos and then fill up the launch pads. I only have to check the planet every 82 hours.
