Returning Player (Omega) - Hurricane fit problem

Hello Ladies and Gents,

I returned to eve after over a year. Upgraded to omega today. Before I took the break i had this fitting for my hurricane:

[Hurricane, Hurricane - Hurri WH]
Armor Explosive Hardener II
Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II
Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II
Medium Armor Repairer II
Medium Armor Repairer II
Gyrostabilizer II

10MN Afterburner II
Large Cap Battery II
Cap Recharger II
Cap Recharger II

425mm AutoCannon II
425mm AutoCannon II
425mm AutoCannon II
425mm AutoCannon II
425mm AutoCannon II
425mm AutoCannon II
Core Probe Launcher I

Medium Capacitor Control Circuit I
Medium Capacitor Control Circuit I
Medium Ancillary Current Router I

Hobgoblin II x8

Phased Plasma M x10000
Core Scanner Probe I x8

Now the problem is, that I lack 174.5 Power Grid. That is quiet a lot. I wonder which change in eve causes that problem for me. Did they change skills affecting this fit? Or modules i have fitted? Or is it the Hurricane hull? This ship is ment to do C1-3 Sleeper Sites. I know there are (and always were) better ships out there for this job. But it worked and I'd liek to get my Hurricane going for this job again. Any advices what to change to make it work again? Just switching a medium ccc for a second medium acr is not enough. Also I woudl probably get problems with neuting sleepers.

Meta the battery drop to 220's....not sure what changed since 1y ago.

Typhoon Fleet Issue SOE skin for the win.

Swapping to a Pb-Acid battery will do the trick.

As for what changed... how long were you gone? Hurricane has seen a couple of changes over the last several years. Most recent was at least a range increase. Looks like you'll need it on that fit.

I went into EFT and plugged in your modules. Everything fit easily, but all skills were at L5.

The base CPU is 400. 500 at L5.
The base power is 1140, 1425 at L5.

I checked in game to double check the base numbers and they are the same as above.

The numbers on the used CPU is 444/500.
The numbers on the used power is 1444/1567/

That Ancillary Current Router rig pushes the power grid to 1567.

I don't know why you could fit it all before, and you can't now. Maybe go with some named modules instead of the T2s.

Always remember Tovil-Toba, and what was done there.

What version of EFT are you looking at? Both EFT and pyfa have it over. Fit needs 1649.6 and has 1567.5. Dropping the cap battery to named fixes this.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that i am not even close to all 5s at the related skills. But changing the battery to meta nearly did the trick. I was still lacking a few MW but solved it by swapping one armor repairer 2 to a ancillary armor repper. Maybe not the most optimal solution but it works fine for me. Thanks for all your advices.

Yep, I have old version of EFT, thanks.

Bajuna, I'm glad you got it figured out.

CPP changed batteries, they increased the bonuses of Batteries but increased the fitting as well.

Try a Meta battery as they are only slightly harder to fit than the old batteries but have like double the cap. Otherwise a Thukker battery is very easy to fit but $70mil.

You should also notice that you had a bit more CPU available than before; batteries generally require more grid and less CPU now.
