1. Ores like Vespar, Scordite, Krernite, Pryoxers, all high sector ores, should only be found in High Sector absolutely. So if someone in low and Null sectors want to build anything, they MUST transport it from those regions! The same applies fore Low sector ores like Jaspet, Hedbergite, etc. can only be found in low sectors. Null sectors will have only Gneiss, Mercoxit, etc.

2. NPC cities on planets seen from space, perhaps interact and land in them. They can have their own NPC mining structures that, when you land on the planet, in the city, you can purchase planetary materials depending on the planet type.

3. Can hire NPC Mercenaries for a Month, specify the ship types/types(i.e. caldari battleship) you want them to fight with+Amount of those you want to hire. Specify in the screen to follow you around for protection or do a hit on a marked target like a Customs office or Citadel. Note: The more powerful the NPC ships, then the more ISK the player has to pay for the services+depends on the target strength if it is a case of Assault(assaulting a citadel).

4. NPC planetary colonies/cities should be able to produce capital ships, regular ships etc for sale.

5. NPC cargo carriers, to ferry cargo, ships parts from one planet type to the other, that can be attacked.

Oh FFS, is there some competition to see who can make the most new threads with stupid ideas? Do I get a bunch of PLEX if I manage to beat you at it?

This is already largely the case, most low-quality ores were removed from Null Sec at the request of Null Sec players ages ago because they did nothing other than clutter up belts and ore anomalies.

The Minerals that make up these ores are already found in higher quantities in other ores in Null.

Please consult an ore chart or at least do a basic amount of research on the mechanic you are making a suggestion for before suggesting something like this.

CCP introduced PI explicitly to get away from things being sold by NPCs. Landing on planets would be a huge feature to be introduced just for something that could be done already with an NPC sell-order in a station.

CCP have repeatedly stated that they do not want NPCs performing functions players should be performing. If you want protection find another player and pay them for it. If you want something hauled pay a player for it. If you want a ship buy it from another player.

I meant "Mineral" types when I said "ore" types. i.e. Tritanium+Pyrite+mexallon+Isogen should only be in High sect. The rarer minerals like Nocxium+megacyte should be in Low sec. The rarest minerals, such as Morphite+Zandrine, in Null sectors.

Hilarious as that would be, it would also possibly present a slight logistical difficulty for nullsec entities, lowsec entities and highsec industrialists, as well as a certain uptick in competition for highsec resources.

That changes nothing.

Every idea you post shows an astounding ignorance of how the game works and in many cases would consume dev time better spent elsewhere.

Learn how stuff currently works before posting any more nonsense.

Given the sheer idiocy of virtually every post he makes yes, I have to agree at this point he is just a master-level troll. Intelligence levels like what he would need for this to be genuine preclude the ability to breathe without constant attention.

Just the same, I oddly feel the need to feed it every so often.

There is literally no way this could possibly work that would be balanced under the current game setup.

The current way mining works and scales you would have to completely re-scale basically *everything* with production in the entire game to support this because not only does mining value go up as you go out to Null but mining Volume goes up as well thanks to ships like the Rorqual. With current asteroids there's no way for High Sec to supply all of the low-end ore the game needs.

Not to mention the massive problem you'd have hauling all of those minerals out to Null to build anything at any scale.

Just no, from top to bottom. It's already basically impossible to come close to sourcing everything you need locally in any area of space, a change like this is not needed.

Also I'm really failing to see how this increases "depth" at all. We already have stuff moving around between areas of space.

CCP want null to be more self sufficient. They don't want null blocks relying so heavily on imports

This is the Features and Ideas section of the forums. You don't need to say "to the developers", bud. Stop trolling.

I don't think he's trolling, I think his intent is to attempt to dissuade others from ripping apart his ideas by making it clear that they're directed at the devs. Or maybe he's just a bit OCD. I dunno.

1. Interesting but won't work for a large number of reasons, most importantly ore=/= minerals which is what is required for manufacturing. Ignoring that there are other issues with it, but I'm sure manufacturers can answer to that more than I.

2. Again cool, interact however, not so much. Eve is about the space ships, the regular non-demi gods that soil their footsteps with dirt are... well, beneath us. If you could dock at some planets as though they were stations with a different backdrop though, that might be a cool idea but the mechanics would have to considered heavily as to how interacting with planets could affect things like wars among other things.

3. one billion percent no. If you want to hire an NPC what you really should do is hire a player or player group.

4. Why would a ship be built on a planet? Ignoring how I said the idea might be cool in number 2 we have to consider that we fly SPACE ships. The designs of these ships may or may not fully allow for them to enter any level of atmosphere considering that they are designed for 0 atmosphere. It's why you can't fly a plane in space or in the ocean, it's not meant for that medium. Given that there is little to no chance that capsuleer ships could be built on the surface. For this space based manufacturing is required. Besides a ground based target means 0 risk for those building compared to those in space who risk having their factory blown up including everything inside.

5. These actually already exist. They are owned by other NPC corporations though. You could always try redfrog freight if you need your stuff moved. As you can see just like suggestion 3, these roles are filled by players, making NPCs take that job ruins the kind of game Eve is. If there is every a situation where you want a service provided by the game think of the playerbase and look for a corp that offers that service. There are merc groups all over the place, third party asset handlers, up til recently there were casinos and even banks. The player base provides a wide array of services if you just look. I know it's a hell of a lot different then a traditional MMO system but most services that aren't provided by NPCs in New Eden are provided by fellow players.
