Ability to Overheat Warp Core Stabalizers

Here's how this would work.

You could overheat your warp core stabilizers and receive an additional +1 point each during the time they are overheated.

Since stabs are not active modules you would need to overheat the rack.

The stabilizers will overheat and give you +1 each for 5 seconds, at which point they will be destroyed (Either entirely or 100% damaged but repairable).

I have a better solution: every time you fit WCS a remote arm stabs you in the face IRL. And every time you make a blatant troll thread it does it twice.

Translation : Stabbed farmer keep running away from me and I can't adapt to it so I cry on the forum hoping for a change.

Err no.

You only need s wcs to work once, so o/h is not an interesting choice, its an obvious one. I don't want to see interceptors with +8 warp core stabilisation or iterons with +8 or dst's with a bazillion.

Not unless scrams get an equally ridiculous buff.

"Lol the pvp guy is crying because of bullshit mechanics" is not a valid argument

Make WCS like Shield Hardeners, unactivated they give you +0.5 - 1 Warp core strength, activated they give +1 - 1.5, overheated a notification comes up on the attackers screen saying "LOL, U MAD BRO?"

I think if you could oveheat the module it shouldn't give +1 warp stab, but instead decrease your signature radius more, thus making it take longer to lock on to you. So if you see an enemy you don't want to engage with, you could overheat the module preemptively before they get a lock. If your lucky, you'll warp off before they scrab you. If you aren't so lucky, you just burnt some of your low slots.

I think that this would be less overpowered, but still get an overheat buff that is semi useful. If this does get added, I think it should only be able to work on industrial ships that can fit no defense, but that's just me.

I think warp stabs are to OP in certain aspects of the game (Faction Warfare), but mediocre in others (like protecting a miner from getting killed by a small gang of 2+ if they know what they're doing).
