  • [Copenhagen, Denmark] Gankaton XVII - Reboot in EVE Gameplay Center

I am in the process of colluding with some other #Therabois to come out for a few drinks.

  • [March] Balance Tweaks: Focused Warp Scrambling Script in EVE Technology and Research Center

Yay! Now I can fly something other than 100mn AB ships (if I were to ever find time to log in).

  • [March] Mobile Warp Disruptor changes in EVE Technology and Research Center

Please incorporate a way to steal unused bubbles. So if after the decay they no longer inhibit warp and become scoopable by anyone. This will allow people to roam around in DST's and Blockade runners making a living! Please let us roleplay deep space salvagers or garbagemen/women.

  • Nullification and Interdiction in EVE Technology and Research Center

My main thing from a small gang perspective is that anchorable bubbles need to be reworked. They are commonly spammed in pipes on all of the gates leading up to the ratting pocket. Requiring burning through 100km's of bubbles even with proper bookmarks. The only options to this is to blitz interceptors through with the main force following later.

As is the only way to deal with them is through damage, this allows very little room for counter play. Let them be hackable, unanchorable, or able to be stolen by enemy combatants. Or just give them a resource necessary for them to stay anchored, where if they run out of the resource they are free game.

Give us the ability to roam through areas of space with a small little hacker, stealing the untended bubbles. Let there be trash collectors and salvager's in New Eden!

  • Copenhagen collusion with The Camel Empire in EVE Gameplay Center

I approve of this message and will also be there.

  • [118.7] Warp Bubble Dragging Change in EVE Technology and Research Center

This is a good change, not just for Caldari combat pilots, but for everyone of New Eden.

nerfing the raw damage hurts the application to large targets and thats not the issue

Nerfing the raw damage was decreased. But the firing speed and the amount of charges have been increased to compensate. This decreases the raw alpha from the strike.

  • Wormhole Space Killboard Comparison in EVE Gameplay Center

For ease of reference, please add New Caldari Bureau of Investigation to your comparisons.

  • [118.6] Capital Balancing in EVE Technology and Research Center

As someone who flies primarily sub capitals I look forward to this change as it will help deal with the problem of ridiculously powerful fighter alpha strike.

  • Wormhole Space Killboard Comparison in EVE Gameplay Center

Could you possibly add some of the PvP groups that live in Thera to this site? It would be much appreciated.

  • [118.6] Capital Balancing in EVE Technology and Research Center

I like these changes as they remove the majority of dps (applicable to subcaps) from the rocket salvo to the auto attack. This will reduce the horrible feeling of 'whoops, just got deleted from this fight despite burning at full speed'. Now the target of the fighters will have a few more seconds to react.

Add me in the list of people that would like to see the fighters 'rocket salvo' name changed to 'torpedo salvo' to better reflect it's application abilities. Makes it easier on everyone.

    Another small update:

Thanks to feedback we see that it would improve the experience quite a lot minimize the amount of characters available for this reward so we are going to limit the reward to the first character completing the daily task on each account.

Would you guys consider switching the rewards over to Aurum instead? I think a lot of players are triggered by the fact that SP is being rewarded and they are then reminded of horrible grinds with WoW and the clones of that. With Aurum it would also encourage players to use more SKINS which is really good.

  • Recurring Opportunities coming soon in EVE Technology and Research Center

If you are going to do this. Please at least limit it to once per account per day. As a min-maxer it would get REALLY irritating in the long run to feel like I was missing out for not logging in all 9 of my characters to get that little SP fix.

Right, shouldn't be a problem. Will look into it asap.

While you are at it could you pretty pretty please make a grey sphere for your MJD and Micro MJD? It would drastically improve the quality of life of many pilots. Thanks and have a great day.

  • [Copenhagen, Denmark. 27th November] in EVE Gameplay Center

So myself and some corpmates are going to be out drinking in Copenhagen on the 27th at Fermentoren ├ślbar from 20:00. Everyone is welcome.

    Sorry for the short notice,

  • Dev blog: X Marks The Spot - The New Star Map Is Out Of Beta in EVE Information Center

Can we please get a little bit more tuning for the 'Number of pilots currently docked and Active' stat.

Right now it looks like: http://i.imgur.com/nzzILtB.jpg on the new map, and http://i.imgur.com/PjkgA3C.png on the old map.

It is really hard to see at a glance which systems have more undocked pilots. As it is I have to hover over each system to get a rough idea, while with the old map it was much easier to see if the number was between 1-5, 5-10, or 10-50.

Hint: Maut has 3 people, and Adacyne has 68. Yet they are almost the same size.

Another example: While zoomed out we get this view http://i.imgur.com/RCclhMK.jpg . This is a definite loss of information compared to the old map which looks like: http://i.imgur.com/eFZvygU.png

As you can see, finding 'blob's of pilots out in space is still much easier with the old map because systems with 0 pilots are clearly identified with white, and the gradient increases gradually.

  • Dev blog: X Marks The Spot - The New Star Map Is Out Of Beta in EVE Information Center

You guys seriously need to leave your computer chairs, go out into the wonderful icelandic wilderness, and try using a real life map. The information on this map is horribly lacking, and it is still very hard to find pockets/systems with people using the ''Average Pilots in Space in the last 30 minutes'' option.

It is also extremely horrible design to have a starmap BEHIND the starmap we are looking at: http://i.imgur.com/ooiaDTz.jpg

Can we please get an option to have a solid black background so that we can easier navigate where the stars actually are on the map?

As a side note, can you please scan out a few wormhole chains using the new map so that you guys can see just how frustrating it is.

Nice to see that t2 mwds are actually faster now. But really do we need more speed creep in eve? it feels like ships are super fast right now and that creates some problems in my opinion. In a vacum they might be okish whats most important is what you guys are planning to do with links since they heavily affect this as well. For certain ships these changes might be terrifying though. Garmurs doing 10k m/s or stilettos burning 100km and tackeling you before you can lock them.

    Suitonia wrote:
I think speed creep is unhealthy for the game and hope you're keeping an eye on this.

I think it is as well, but having the option to pay extra for a little bit of extra speed would be nice if they plan on nerfing links

    *Crosses fingers*

  • Feedback on the latest Sensor Overlay changes in EVE Technology and Research Center

Can we please get an option to double click an anomaly in the probe scanner to focus our tracking camera onto that anomaly? It would make locating them visually much easier as well as seeing if the anomaly is occupied or not.

I like the new brackets, they are much less obtrusive, but a little bit harder to find in space (which I am fine with if we can focus through)

  • [Scylla] Beta Map Release - feedback wanted! in EVE Technology and Research Center

I got on Sisi to test today. Great progress!

The double clicking on probes no longer zooming out is nice.

The jumps, pilots in space, ships killed, and pilots docked all look much better. But that might have been because fewer people were present.

It seems a lot less clunky, and is easier to move.

I found some new things that would be nice to have.

A small dot for our actual ship, so we can see where we are located in space. With that, have a little bit of range so we can get a good idea of how far a celestial/ship is from our current location. In the old probing map it was possible with the tactical overlay.

Is it possible to make a hotkey so that we can hold control, shift, or alt down and mousewheel up or down to resize probes?

All in all Iook forward to seeing this next version on TQ and will gladly test out whatever features you guys want.

Edit: Also a minimize option for the windowed mode.
