Amak, for the sake of all Sisi warriors and to give you that guudfeels can you please start tweeting status updates for Sisi? Would be very helpful.

  • Building construction and destruction video in EVE Technology and Research Center

Your best option would be to do a time lapse. Such as taking a picture every 2-5 minutes. This would allow for downtime to have no effect on the video once you throw it all together. You would probably want to find a group of people to shoot it as well before going through with anchoring it too.

Here's the one HK did which looks pretty awesome. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W0e4nsER6wQ which was done at 5 min intervals.

  • ihub upgrades in EVE Technology and Research Center

Id recommend looking into the testing alliance (Doomsday Testing). You can contact their exec Commandant John and as him about installing mining upgrades in the ihub of their main system if they haven't already. That should give you easy access for testing mining changes.

I didn't realise the purpose of the test server was for mucking about in supers and shitting on randos.

Can confirm it's been like this since 2014. It's also practice grounds for..... wait for it..... not AT....... but multiboxing dread bombs.

  • New (=old) mirror for Singularity - 2016-06-02 in EVE Technology and Research Center

There is a clear message when selecting the singularity server from the launcher that states "You are on a test server. Any progression made on test servers may not be lasting, as data is occasionally mirrored from Tranquility." Ultimately there are a dozen reasons why CCP doesn't do this, and you should be prepared to lose everything you've done on singularity at a moment's notice.

  • The sad state of the test server in EVE Technology and Research Center

The citadel spam is somewhat real. I do think that without it there would be increased risks of perimeter crashing and causing even more QQ than 2 dozen people being unhappy with citadel spam. I also think that citadel spam can be easily avoided, even more so if you are in a subcap. Capitals mostly rule CA1 and if you want to avoid citadel spam CA3-9 are almost exclusively empty. I also think the decrease in players comes from a larger set of factors. There used to be rivalries with two groups that played regularly whereas now there's just one "bad guys" group with the added randos. In addition, over the life of the mirror less people come on as their supers get blobed and people lose reasons to login. On the flip side goons login for training every Saturday, and nothing like this ever really happened before. It's more of an odd evolution cycle than anything.

  • Supercapitals, how to ? in EVE Technology and Research Center

If you need an alliance to join check out the stickied thread about the testing alliance. CJ is rather active, will accept anyone into the alliance and has a building system setup for people to build super capitals in. All you need to do is haul your components to build your supercapital of choice.

  • Supercapitals, how to ? in EVE Technology and Research Center

Yes you need sov. You will need to launch a Territorial Claim Unit at a planet, and an Infrastructure Hub at another planet. You will need to use the entosis module on those two structures to take them over as an alliance (You will have to be part of a player owned alliance for this). Once you own both the TCU and the IHUB you can use the command (/boostsov) to upgrade your system. Once you have done this you can put the Supercapital Construction Facilities IHUB upgrade into the IHUB. Once the upgrade is installed into the IHUB you can go to your sotiyo and activate the Standup Supercapital Shipyard I module. Once the module is online you can build any supercapital.

PS: Make sure your alliance executor corporation has automatic payment settings setup to avoid losing the alliance after 30 days, this will pause any supercapital builds you have.
PPS: Make sure your Sotiyo doesnt run out of fuel, as it consumes fuel continuously which means it will also pause your supercapital builds if it runs empty.

  • Shadows in EVE Technology and Research Center

No objections to this, however I will say that almost 100% of the time I've seen someone ask for their capital's tank to be tested people tend to go along with it and mostly not be dicks. The issue at hand is most people don't think to ask and when they warp into CA1/CA2 they just get blobbed.

  • Add wormholes with no effect to /moveme in EVE Technology and Research Center

Alternatively, since CCP has better things to do, you could simply scan the chains out to find yourself a no effect wormhole of your choice. If you are testing out wormholes it's likely because you either live in one or plan on living in one. No better time than on sisi to learn how rolling connections works and how to find what you are looking for.

  • New mirror for Singularity applied in EVE Technology and Research Center

Amak, it's been an hour and a half and they just rebooted the server. Where's our status update?

  • New mirror for Singularity applied in EVE Technology and Research Center

Singularity is up and running atm. Everyone here should really thank whatever magic Habakuk pulled out of his hat to make this happen. 1AM over there right now.

    Thanks Habakuk

  • New mirror for Singularity applied in EVE Technology and Research Center

Maybe instead of acting like annoying "are we there yet?" children we could all hold hands and pray to lord almighty Bob for the server to be brought back up before the weekend and let CCP focus on getting that done.

  • Chimera Redesign in EVE Technology and Research Center

Im not a fan either. What threw me off the most was that the chimera and cormorant/flycatcher which got redesigned in the same patch look completely different. I believe the chimera simply looks like a bunch of rectangles where as the cormorant and flycatcher still look slick while using other geometrical shapes.

  • New Probe and Directional scanning UI and UX Feedback thread in EVE Technology and Research Center

The new scanning UI looks cool. My only issue with it is that I've been using the original probe/dscan windows until today and where the old analyse button used to be is the new probe recall button. You might be able to see how frustrating that is.

  • Working as intended? in EVE Technology and Research Center

To answer your question this is currently working as intended. CCP is monitoring the loss of supercaps on TQ closely and may revert this ability at some point in the future. In regards to the warp disruption you warp strength with carrier skill lvl 5 is 25 points of strength. If you look up "Heavy Warp Scrambler II" in game you'll see they have 6 points of strength each. The rorqual that killed you could have had 5 of these fitted (5*6 = 30) which would have prevented you from warping or jumping regardless.

Harassment and denial of test server use

trying to refit a super in a pos in 6-c when all of a sudden a lif warps in and tries to ram into the pos which is set to corp/alliance with a PW on it. when this failed they proceded to bring in a tengu and 2 vagabonds to attempt to bump me out of the pos with success they got me to the edge of the shield just as my safe log timer ran out and i was safely removed from play. the people doing this are neither in corp or alliance they are in Capital Escalation.

at the time of writing this they are anchoring syndicate large mobile warp disruptors around the tower which the super is logged out in.

below you will find push captures of the local convo where they admit to the wrong doing. the dreads shooting a tower which was not in any way solicited by me the only one online from my alliance at the time. i was unable to get a screen cap of them in the act of bumping me out of the pos but can confirm that they were hitting speed in excess of 18km/s.

I'll save CCP some time on this one. None of those pictures show evidence of any exploits being used. There's text saying we are testing exploits with no proof, who's to say it wasn't sarcasm?

Now to quote CCP on the rules
    CCP Falcon wrote:
Combat is by consent only, except in the designated combat systems (6-CZ49, PVH8-0).

You can find this quote from here https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=386377&find=unread

With this said the pictures of your tower getting bubbled and it being reinforced are not in the slightest way a rule violations.

Have yourself a wonderful day sir.

  • performance loss and game crashing in 6-cz in EVE Technology and Research Center

Perhaps putting a 50 citadel cap on 6-C and making FD- the main citadel testing system as mentioned by somebody else might make for more interactive testing and force people who wish to put citadels down to take other citadels down which in turn would be testing the timer mechanic in the case that any bugs arise.
