I killed a war target Condor in a plex last night. Check out the important cargo it was hauling around FW space.

Yeah, recently there's been a huge outbreak of warp stabbing among a certain ::ahem:: churchy faction. For shame! Fully grown men or partly grown boys flying around low sec warp stabbed. Have they no pride? Of course, us on the other side could be doing it to. Don't know, I don't shoot at us.

Me too. That was some real serious combo action: hockey and ISK risk.

This would be great for space exploration because you could assign a crew to grow the endpoint crew in the same manner and then upload the crew members memories and skill into the clean clone mind.

The only hard part is to conduct studies to determine how daily events are stored in the subconscious as well as the conscious part of the brain that would allow for a person to have their identity planted into their clone.

    Its coming.

Touching on that, some scientist think the baby actually gets some part of their psyh from the mom, are these babies going to be missing something?

If you deviate from 3.5 billion years of evolution and some quadrillions of generations and iterations eventually arrived at... there are bound to be some unforeseen results.

  • The Financial Report in EVE Communication Center

Still, if you think about it, it is kind of strange that the center of commerce for the whole cluster is also the area of the highest ship casualties. It's kind of like if Wall Street had the highest percentage of truck hijackings and gang wars on Earth. Seems kind of odd, from a gameworld point of view. Caldari State and CONCORD are pretty much crap at maintaining any kind of order.

(But-- I understand why the game design lets that happen. And appreciate that CCP lets the masses of players just organically shape where market hubs form, flow of traffic, all that. Just kind of needs some sort of backstory rationale).

I might do that, do you know a few channels I could hangout to speak with people doing FW and start learning?

If you join an FW faction, you automatically go into the faction's Militia chat channel. There are people of all levels of experience in there. (Also spais from the enemy faction.) FW's great if want to be casual, but also get into low sec and do some PVP. You can make isk doing solo stuff, and end up PVPing solo, or you can get into pick-up militia fleets and do roams. Or you can join and FW corp and do more organized things.

Currently the Gal-Cal war is very active, but Min-Amarr is active too. Much fun, and some profit.

Big news of 0.0 since you 2015-- Goons got booted out of null and their coalition collapsed, about this time last year. Was called World War Bee. It's old news now, but still a pretty huge event in the history of the sandbox.

Oddly, mining and high sec ganking are about the most math-driven and most formulaic things you can do in EVE. For miners, ore intake per second, plus secondary hauling to market considerations. HAL 9000 could come up with a optimal way to do it.
(And has. Damn 24-hour horrible miner bots. Luckily players reported them, and a CCP special project bug-sprayed them. James 315 and his alt shill dude showed up late in the game. Bob bless him, he must have smelt a smell, blood in the water, something like that.

It was the highest pile of horseshite one could ever not visualize. It was highly controversial in forums. It was like a troll thing, but when enough people called logical B.S. on that, an earnest but naive alt stepped in to defend, redirect, and derail. From those humble roots-- a movement hatched. Somewhat like how coconut and palm oil, backed by compressed gas, comes out of a metal canister, through a cross-shaped cut in a plastic nozzle. It was expertly played, so a tip of the hat to Jim. At present, pretty limitless amounts of Whipped Cream to spray onto pancakes).

From the gankers' side, pretty much the same thing. Math and formulas(ae). Constants are Fac Po intervention time for this system, vs. ganking a high sec new guys. Variables include EHP of the target, how much DPS you got in your fleet, and facpo response time. Another job for HAL 9000. (But of course, the target might move around. And, the best of CODE. give hints in Local before undocking).

    Comparatively, though:
-Rat in your alliance's system in null: Pretty mathematically predictable. ::burp::
-Get into one of your null alliance's fleet's: Roll the dice, highly unpredictable
-PVP in low sec: Ride the Lightning. All We are is Dust in the Wind.
-Hi Sec mining and ganking: Heisenberg controlled environment. Applied chemistry formula.

CCP's backstory/gameworld guys are more sly than they might seem. For example, who would have guessed that the stars you see around in the background actually are stars in systems in the game? It only became apparent when a release added they lines displaying your route between systems. How cool is that? Pretty dang cool.

OP, you should consider it a badge of honor. Or if not, at least a good story to tell. Probably not that many other people have managed a similar feat. At least you're not the run-of-the-mill PH grunt ratter/isk-farmer.

A TV show could be risky, unless the characters were all Atrons, Drakes, Megathrons, Badgers, etc. If it had humans walking around and interacting, people could get dangerous ideas about Walking in Stations.
