  • [March] Structure, Drone & Fighter improvements from Team Five 0 in EVE Technology and Research Center

Oh yes! All these changes are great! Love the fighter hotkeys.

  • Dev blog: Skill level complete - A new character sheet for EVE Online in EVE Information Center

This looks better, I like the new character sheet. But like I said here: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=6670777#post6670777 I still think you should keep the red/yellow/blue colors on the requirements tab. It's a lot easier to understand quickly.

  • Clone States UI Changes in EVE Technology and Research Center

My biggest concern right now is that it's a lot harder to see quickly what are the requirements for something: http://i.imgur.com/7Qasp1m.png

I feel the colors and icons in the old requirement tab a lot easier to read with red, yellow and blue. If you want to show the player what lever of skill they need/ have, the method currently on sisi is very confusing and esoteric, almost http://i.imgur.com/hSbBpXB.png

Versus what I would use on TQ to see what level I'm at: http://i.imgur.com/SJ1zsts.png

Clearly, Tri is the scariest alliance in New Eden. In fact, I'm not sure Tri could lose to even PL or Goons - perhaps both at the same time even.

I'd like to see Goons in their current state attack Vangard+ DRF. I can't say if we'd win or not but I think it would make for an interesting war.

You are welcome to try. You should ask Feing how trying to take our space while we're deployed worked for them.

  • Dev Blog: Introducing Clone States & the Future of Access to EVE in EVE Information Center

I don't think alpha clones should be racially locked. The other restrictions are fine, but really it wouldn't tip the balance of the game if an alpha had acess to all the T1 frigs on the same character.

as much as i really like how it works and what an advance it should be, Currently it's pretty unusable for me. opening the map beta basically stops the entire client dead, so i don't.

edit: I'd love to give you more valuable feedback, but while it performs so poorly, that really isn't something that is possible, becasue no amount of new features or refinements will make it usable.

I had the same issue, getting 1 fps while zoomed in but this patch seems to have fixed it.

  • Session timer when changing ships while docked? in EVE Technology and Research Center

Huh, this wasent there yesterday. That's odd that they would undo what they fixed before.

  • Session timer when changing ships while docked? in EVE Technology and Research Center

Did I miss a memo? I get a session timer when I change ships while docked on sisi that I don't currently get on TQ. It doesnt seem to affect stuff like changing fleet status and getting in another ship but it does slow down undocking. I though we got rid of that 4 years ago.

2- What is your favourite ship SKIN pattern?

  • Any questions for tomorrow's o7 show? (Thursday Oct 29) in EVE Communication Center

Can we have more images of the force auxiliairies?

They looked much bigger than the freighters beside them. Are they intended to have stats much higher than current carriers? (no hard numbers) Again, some super carriers are smaller than Dreads, so size apparently doesn't mater after all!

Are you planning to realease a structure to replace small starbases? The size and price gap between a medium citadel and a mobile depot is quite large and sometimes you just need to set up a temporary SMA, for low-class wormholes for example.

The new ships coming this winter

Can we have more detais on the mechanics of the "Micro jump bubble" of the new destroyers?

  • Dev blog: Reworking Capital Ships: And thus it begins! in EVE Information Center

First off, I've never flow a capital before, I am just now (this week) finishing base training to get in a carrier. However, I've joined EVE after seeing RnK's Iron Clad video, so I've been interested in logistics, capitals and carriers since the beginning. Seeing the carrier's logistics role stripped off before I can even participate in a capital fleet brings me mixed feelings, more on that later.

    -Force Auxiliary Capitals

Not my favourite name and not my favourite models either (from what I've seen in the vegas videos) but that's not the point.
Hanging around more experienced carriers owners, I see most people usually have a Triage carrier, a Ratting carraier and a slowcat. So I guess having two classes instead makes sense, especially if the goal is to kill slowcats. I just hope that the prerequisite skills are similar for the two classes. One thing I liked the carrier class for though, is that it is a very versatile ship and I'm sad to see that go away.

-You will be unable to refit while you have a weapons timer

An integral part of operating in a triage group, people and myself are concerned that this would make a challenging and fun gameplay element much more dificult to use. Triage carriers are more hard to use than in RnK's days because of the bigger fights. Again, we don't know much about Auxiliaries, and their model looks 2x to 4x that of a freighter so they might be much more effective than a single carrier.

-No capital will have complete electronic warfare immunity

This is good. I'd like to know if normal capitals (carriers, dreads, auxiliaries) will have a base warp strength? The dev blog only mention super-capitals. I allways feel beter using my Deep space transport in null-sec and in wormholes knowing that a single frigate probaly won't be an issue for me.

    -High Angle Weapon Batteries

I've never been interested in a dread before. They were only big trebuchets designed to bash a structure or break triage, usually by scuiciding themselves. I've seen solo dread PvP videos before though and that is very cool. Now I am much more interested.interested.

    -Carriers, Super-Carriers & Fighters

I trained for carriers because of both logistics and drones. My first time using a Tristan, or my first time using sentries, I felt it was a very cool mechanic, being able to control a swarm of drones. However drone gameplay became old quickly.
I will make the same paralel people have done before, the new fighters looks like World of Warships's fighters. To me it is a good thing, because I enjoy the carrier class in WoWs the most. I can't wait to see how it actually feels on SiSi.

    -New 3D targeting

Unrelated to capitals, one thing I've allways wanted in EVE is the ability to warp anywhere in the solar system. Right now we can only do that by warping to planets and creating bookmakrs in between planets. It would be nice if we could warp to, or make bookmarks on points we would do using this targeting UI on the solar system map.

Thank you for reading my feedback!

  • 29 septembre : Vanguard in Forum français

  • Vanguard - General feedback in EVE Information Center

The self-ship bracket needs to be a different color, or at least show corp/ alliance/ fleet status. Right now when I'm zoomed out I see a neutral ship on grid with me and I freak out since local should be blue and overview shows nothing. If it was the blue NPC color but hollow that would work.

For someone who does spectre fleet staging from trade hubs, this is great. <3 It's almost better than multisell.

Tested it and it works great.

  • Move-Mode for Capitals for move ops (e.g. Transforming into move mode (24 hour process) reduces combat capacity to near 0)

That would be great for logistics, like Jump Freighters, as they should'nt be nerfed by power projection nerfing. Set a course to move from system A to system B would take time (minutes? hours?). You would land at a safespot (like when your cyno dies when in jump) or something.

Also great for people moving, let's say from alliance A in low to alliance B in null, without having to sell all their ships. For example someone owning a Rorqual or carrier in low near the hi-sec border or low-sec pocket, right now would have to sell or self-destruct their ships instead of moving them because it is more easy.

  • IGB POS Planner 0.65 (2016.05.08) in EVE Gameplay Center

Sorry if that has been asked already, but having an estimated price for the required fuel would be very nice.

Also, I hope you don't mind, when I saw the changelog this morning I was pretty happy to see recent updates so I posted it on reddit.

  • EVE 13.04 Features Now On Singularity in EVE Technology and Research Center

I'm not sure it's a feature from this particular version, but I can confirm that launching structures (a control tower in my case) from the fleet hangar of a DST works. However, you cannot scoop it back to your fleet hangar, as far as I know.

  • [New structures] Market Hubs and Drilling Platforms in EVE Technology and Research Center

I think the market should be only bound to dockable structures. I don't see reasons to split the 2 functions.
