    yeah the fax is pretty underwhelming. i dont see anything outside of meme nos, neut setups. doesnt tank as well as the other fax and the nos on a capital level doesnt matter tbh.

    Unironically HIC scrams just made Orthrus' much more prolific, because it's one of the few kiting ships that can project outside HIC Scram range while also tackling ships outside HIC scram range. What HICs killed was solo brawling with MJDs entirely, cheap, affordable or accessible kiting ships (RIP anyone trying to just take out a nano thorax, cane or stabber etc.).

    Flying 100mn stuff + needing a Keres to even undock if you want to do non Orthrus stuff is getting boring.


    pretty much this. 36k scrams made plenty of things auto trash worthy. On ships that boast huge tanks and almost always run sebos to counter ecm, it was very frustrating to deal with. There was no counter gameplay, it was just "ggwp"

  • Medium AC rebalancing and the Stabber in EVE Gameplay Center

    reduce the fitting requirements on autos/arty might help. similar to the small arty buff. fitting is brutal on auto ships as is.

    in an era of hics, things that cant project outside of 30+km are dumpster tier (unless you ab/100mn) having functional artys on a fast ship that is lightly tanked would be amusing. takes skill to use without a tracking bonus.

    a slight damage buff might be required but i havent checked numbers. you have the advantage of damage choice(mostly) but to kite with autos you want barrage which negates that choice. feelsbadman

    I'm with you man and so are other miners I've spoken to who have invested big time into this. It baffles me why folks would insult you for saying how you feel about this. People have every right to feel angry about this. We are being asked to become a sitting duck for 5 mins and this is the result:

    ive seen a rorq tank 15 blops and then panic when supers came in. He was solo so he died quietly and lost everything after we sat there for 5 mins waiting for him to come out. like unironically if he had a scram fit and punched a cyno for 4-5 dreads those supes/blops would have eaten ****. but no. you insist you are a helpless little miner in a belt just trying to make a living, but I dont buy it.

    This is because of a limitation on the Nalgfar model. Long term, its something we want to fix :) For now the Nalgfar gets a bit of an advantage with ammo/modules required.


    So, comparing with the moros, that somehow shares the same kind of bonuses (damage/reps) there's a big gap between them? The moros looks much better then the nag.

    nag is essentially capless post patch, making it extremely powerful. along with selectable damage and a utility high for a cap neut, they will be mean cap killing machines. the moros has the worst cap out of all the dreads currently and the rep bonus, while good on paper, isn't good functionally. moros will require nos + cap injects to be used(unless hull tank :D) but it is still a king of blap. and it also has void now B)

    the hysteria in this thread is hilarious. eve already has grind to skill with injectors. all ive seen from it is hilarious stories and people that are happy about having more control over what they need in a character.

    if there are daily activities that push you to get out (without being broken B) ) im all for it.

    ive played with a bunch of these on the test server so far. im diggin the attention required. i think the thannys bonus is a bit lackluster in comparison to the rest. You shouldnt be afraid to make it the dps machine that it was meant to be. I would drop the hp bonus and buff the damage. I think the nid will see a fair bit of use in small gang and ratting because of the blessed speed bonus so im excited :3 also 2k+ nids are a thing on the test server B) (as well as nano archons :D)
