Agony Empire vs. Exiled Ones - I've got a lot of respect for Agony
Solar Fleet vs. Dead Terrorists - IKILU only has 25 people, but I think Joder and Larf will be able to run a solid team even so.
Lone Star Partners vs. Raiden. - Not quite dead yet Blink
The Kadeshi vs. The Space Police - Of these two I've been more impressed by THOR's tournament performance
Hun Reloaded vs. Perihelion Alliance - Perihelion was very strong last year, and HUN have never been able to regain their old glory
Babylon 5.. vs. Nulli Secunda - I like Nulli. Plus, you know, two dots.
Noir Mercenary Group vs. Elysian Empire - Noir have always underperformed expectations in the tournament so far, but I'm still gonna give them the edge here
Red Overlord vs. R.E.V.O.L.U.T.I.O.N. - Honestly difficult to call, but ROL seems to be taking the tournament more seriously of these two
Fearless. Vs. Sleeper Social Club - I would like to see Fearless. take it but I think SSC is just going to be stronger
Darkside vs. RAZOR Alliance - The stronger of last year's semifinalists, although I'd love for PL not to have to face them again
Get Off My Lawn vs. RvB - Gogogo RvB!
Why So Serious? Vs. Against ALL Authorities - I'd probably give it to WHYSO if their name really was "Why So Serious?" instead of "WHY so Seri0Us"
Exodus vs. Bruderschaft der Pilger - Exodus might suprise us, but probably not
Goonswarm Federation vs. Brick Squad - But in the end it we'll find the whole tournament was just an elaborate Darius III troll
Out of Sight vs. Pure Madness - U.MAD is an excellent ticker btw
The Veyr Collective vs. Northern Coalition. - I think our techbros will have a fairly good team
Dark Taboo vs. Alpha Volley Union - This is pretty much a guess btw. Team that didn't do well last year vs new team.
Manifest destiny vs. Verge of Collapse - CRIT have plenty of tournament vets and should do well
Shadow Cartel vs. Tribal Conclave - Gonna go with my gut on this one
Dystopia Alliance vs. Pandemic Legion - May be slightly biased
Heretic Nation vs. Romanian Legion - HRESY should be decent at least
Evoke vs. Wormhole Holders - Evoke's working hard this year and should reap the benefits
The RONIN vs. Dirt Nap Squad - DNS is going to really want that first prize, but I think RONIN is really going to want to prove that last year was just a blip
Gypsy Band vs. Curatores Veritatis Alliance - CVA could be decent this year but I think Gypsy will be better
Fatal Ascension vs. Kill it with fire - Gonna go with the wormholers on this one
Rote Kapelle vs PERCUSSIVE PIZZA TIME DIPLOMACY - Pizza are indeed awesome but I'm leaning heavily towards Rote for this one
Capital Punishment. Vs. Suddenly Spaceships - Seldarine's latest incarnation should do fine
Black Legion vs. Mildly Intoxicated - Any team with ookke is one to watch, but I think Black Legion is going to take this
The Fourth District vs. The Gorgon Empire - This could easily go either way
No Holes Barred vs. Team Liquid - So they can give us all their Etanas
Chokepoint vs. Fluffeh Bunneh Murder Squad - And what's with all the carrots, what do they need such good eyesight for anyways!?!?!
The G0dfathers vs. Test Alliance Please Ignore - TEST are unironically better than someone at eve.

How much are you willing to pay for each? Would you be willing to put your money where your mouth is and place a deposit with Chribba for some?

Win first and then we'll talk. Our plan A is still to try and get them for free. Smile

Love you PL, but love seeing the GHSC pilots do well in the AT. Sorry.

But the PL team has one of the original RED members! Does that mean nothing to you?

    I'm hurt. :(

Thank you very much for the faction ammo seeding.

Would it be possible to change the position on unique ship seeding? They have been seeded on sisi before with no negative effects that I saw. And their seeding would be very useful for many tournament teams.

Question, and I'm mostly coming at this from a position of ignorance so excuse me if the question is daft. If a team is going to use one of the unique ships in the tournament, wouldn't they already have it (or the blueprint) on TQ ergo have it on Sisi?

But the other teams need to practice against them in order to know what they're up against.
And also a lot of trading of unique ships has happened since the last mirror according to what I'm seeing. So there's teams missing their uniques on sisi.

In terms of practise, I would argue that those teams in possession of the ships would have earned the right to having a bit of a secret weapon. I will talk to the tournament coordinators and game design on Monday and see what they say, but I would think that it's unlikely to happen.

Also I'd argue that the best way to encourage teams to incorporate unique ships into their teams is to make testing with unique ships as similar to testing without unique ships as possible. We all want to see expensive explosions on air and seeding the ships will help bring that about.

BTW unique ships were seeded on sisi in the runnup to each of the last two tournaments.

From the perspective of the remaining team with by far the most unique ships in our possession, we don't mind other people being able to test with them and would prefer to have them seeded.

Wow, what an unlucky draw for Darkside. I picked them to go all the way this year. Blink

But seriously, it looks like there is a good chance that only one of last year's top 4 teams will make it into the main part of the tourney.

Half the people who make it into the group stages will have gone 1-1 in the prelims. Whoever loses out of you two just needs to make sure you win your next match convincingly.

  • ATX Match Posting in EVE Communication Center

Only certain items are normally seeded on the market on sisi.
In previous years before the tournament stations around eve would get a ton of extra items seeded such as all faction ships (including the tournament prize ships), faction mods, faction ammo and faction cap boosters. I'm not sure who did that seeding in previous years (it happened last year as well) but it was greatly appreciated and will help the teams test more realistic setups without needing to stockpile items on TQ before a mirror.

Multiple people have asked for a SISI mirror and I can understand and will see what we can do but I do have to caution that SISI is closely tied to our development process rather than anyone's practicing needs so I may not get the answer you want to hear.

Worst case I'll at least try to find out WHEN it will be mirrored.

If the extra seeding of faction ammo/boosters and ships is possible it would also be greatly appreciated.

  • Switching corp within an alliance. in EVE Communication Center

I'm also interested to know officially. If a player in my alliance by the cutoff date drops to an NPC corp even for a second it also DQ's him? If it's right corp to corp that is or isn't OK?

If he dropped to a NPC corp for a second you should get in touch with CCP and see if they'll allow it. Email evetv@ccpgames.com if you don't want to use the CSM communication paths for this stuff.

In that case I wouldn't put that character on the field unless you've received word from one of the devs on the tournament team.

On subjects of specific eligibility where people are following the spirit of the rules to the best of their ability (the cutoff date was put in place to prevent selling of tournament spots) exceptions have been made in the past. Obviously it will be up to the CCPers if they will make an exception in your alliance member's case.

The corp to corp question has come up before, it's always been allowed before and the rules have not changed in this area.

  • Switching corp within an alliance. in EVE Communication Center

Ignore the trolls. As long as you don't leave your alliance at any point, moving corps is fine and doesn't disqualify you. Make sure to go direct from one corp to the other instead of dropping to a npc corp in between.
