I'm kind of torn here, to be honest.
Of course my loyalty goes to ISD Max Trix, first of his name and our first, last and only line of defense against the army of Nitshe alts.
But hen again, if Eve has told me anything, then that conflict- for lack of a better word- is good.
A resolved conflict means a loss of content.
So I am really tempted to support Buldath instead, just to even the odds a little and keep this feud going on for a little bit longer.
    Ugh

But I am worried about him.
I mean, he's not wrong, it was an extraordinary shitpost.
And yet he read the entire thing.
That's about 3-5 minutes of his life he will never get back.
Most people would have realized after the first few lines where this was going and stopped reading.
    But not Zaha.
    That's just not healthy.

It's been quite a while since this was last brought up ...telling Eve players to go to Hello Kitty Online used to be a kind of meme here several years ago.
So, no offense, but I got to ask: have you ever tried it yourself?
    Because..uhm...I have.
And let me tell you, it's HARDCORE. About the first item you get in this game is a big ax. Then a pickax and scissors.
So...we can imagine how to put these instruments to good use, I guess. Mind you, this game is intended for children.
The tutorial tells you how to use the ax to chop wood and the pickax to mine- I forgot what the scissors were used for.
So you enter the pink sweet candy world of Hello Kitty online, tightly gripping your ax, and see other people using their pickaxes to mine.
Now here's where I encountered a major, game breaking bug, since for reasons unknown I couldn't use my ax to kill and dismember the miners. I had harvested some wood in advance and was planning to plant the heads of slain miners on those sticks to mark my newly claimed territory in this strange, strange world- but this turned out to be impossible, either by wilful negligence of the devs or another major bug.
So I soon lost interest and canceled my account, yet I'm still excited thinking about the endless possibilities that could have been.
And if you think I'm making this up, because no person could possibly be this pathetic, then you probably underestimate the power of sheer boredom. And here is the proof.
Now I've written a lot of stupid text in other people's threads...sorry about that..uhm... just let me buy 100 shares for wasting your time, OK?
    Thanks ♥

You just managed to achieve a new 'low' for the intellectual level of this thread (which was incredibly low to start with )
    Congratulations!!

    What can I say?

I just like a challenge. Cool

Given that this is becoming kind of a "big deal", is there any chance I can get it unlocked and maybe even stickied by one of you ISD types?

Usually if you click the little orange flag at the top in your original post and report your own thread.
You can then request a thread unlock under "Reasons for Report", probably even ask to sticky it.

    Cool song.

Some songs are really made for certain spaceships. Blink
Case in point: when I was still doing PVE in my Apocalypse, I found this song so incredibly relevant it blew my mind:
    Arch Enemy - My Apocalypse

Hmm..not convinced. I always felt like Minmatar would listen to old, dirty rock music like The Cramps.
Amarr music would sound like this.
Not sure about Gal and Caldari, since I find both races rather boring tbh.
Sansha would probably listen to crazy stuff like Black Midii (yes, this piece has 3,14 million notes, might melt your soundcard...)

Funny thing... I've always pictured Amarr music sounding close to Dead Can Dance:

    Emmeleia

    Or

    Kiko

    Or

    Agape

And my favorite (this one I used it to set in the mood before battle):

    Saldek

    And a 3' remix:

    Saldek (extended)

While I concur that Dead Can Dance may fit the Amarr theme, the songs you linked were pretty bad examples in my opinion.
Too multi cultural for Amarr. Far too inclusive and open minded.
The older songs of DCD would be so much more fitting, like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5J8mvTWceO8
(wow, even the video makes me want to enslave my neighbors and commit several genocides for the glory of our God Empress...)

  • Showdown in the Thunderdome! It's ON! in EVE Gameplay Center

I'm not really an expert in Battleship PVP, I usually only pew in BCs or smaller stuff, but I just found a fitting of an old classic that I still had in Evemon. If I'm not completely mistaken, MJDs are outlawed and warping off equals defeat in a thunderdome match (making Warp Disruptors obsolete), so I modified the fit a little for this special occasion.

    [Tempest, Atomic Chainsaw]

    Low:
    Gyrostabilizer II
    Gyrostabilizer II
    Tracking Enhancer II
    DCU II
    Inertial Stabilizer II
    Co-Processor II

    Mid:
    500 MN MWD II
    Heavy Cap Booster II
    XL-ASB
    Adaptive Invulnerability Field II
    Adaptive Invulnerability Field II

    High:
    800mm Repeating Cannon II
    800mm Repeating Cannon II
    800mm Repeating Cannon II
    800mm Repeating Cannon II
    800mm Repeating Cannon II
    800mm Repeating Cannon II
    Heavy Unstable Power Fluctuator I
    Rapid Light Missile Launcher II

    Rigs:
    Anti EM Screen Reinforcer I
    Anti Thermal Screen Reinforcer I
    Projectile Burst Aerator II

Drones: Praetor II x2, Hammerhead II x2, Hobgoblin II x1
Ammo: Navy Cap Boosters 400, Barrage, Hail, RF EMP, Nova Fury light Missiles, fill the remaining cargo hold with Fedos.

    Pros:
    - Fast (1174 m/s) and versatile
    - Mostly cap independent
    - Crazy dps (1015 with Barrage, 1329 with Hail, 1500 OH)

    Cons:
    - I suck at eve and have no idea what I'm doing

It reminds me of one EVE melody but slowed down and with some lyrics. Maybe Amarr would sing something like that?

Truthfully Zimmy? Were things really that organic in OoPE back then?

    It was pretty awesome.
OoPE used to be a dead wasteland, but when the trolling in GD became a little bit too much for the mods, they moved the vast majority of troll threads over to OoPE...and thus exiled the former resident GD trolls.
We looked around, found the place lacking and started to re-shape it in our own image, driving the original natives out. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
    Good times.

I believe the magic spell to get insane amounts of likes went something like this:

    javascript:jQuery('#yafpage_posts').find('.hidden-td .popup').each(function(){var id = jQuery(this).attr('id'); id = id.substr(4); addThanks(id)});

I'm curently at work here so I cannot test if this code still works, but you're all welcome.

tl;dr: they were the first real superpower in EVE and widely hated.
    People rejoiced when they fell.
Pretty much every major nullsec alliance has since been accused on occasion of being "just like BoB".
