So yeah, 3 months after the April changes, the VNI’s been [nerfed again](https://i.imgur.com/CeQdqSQ.png). Rest in peace AFK drone boat. Only time will tell if the VNI stays in popular use or disappears. With blaster skills trained well, perhaps 3 blaster and 3 heavies could achieve the same DPS, but the AFK-Netflix appeal of the VNI is lessened.

Is the VNI any good at all anymore? For pvp maybe? I have been wanting to find a ship for my alt to fly with me in low sec ded’s mainly for protection against gankers.

For LowSec i would go with the Stratios, the covert cloak makes traveling a lot better.
