🔴 Oh great. Now CCP even broke the login event window. When I had all things claimed in the past, it would not show up again even though I have the box “Show on log in” checked. This was a reasonable menu behavior. Now this window shows up on every log in. Amazing. ---

Am I the only one who got absolutely nothing, upon redeeming the Capsuleer Day XVII Fireworks Package (Omega day 1 log-in reward)? Even searched through my assets, but nothing. The Alpha reward capsule skin did properly redeem. EDIT: I was stupidly blind and just noticed that reward was for day two, apologies! ---

The 1st gift package had the Capsuleer Day XVII Capsule skin for Alpha and Omega gift was 25k skillpoints, check your character sheet for unallocated skillpoints. ---

Trigtardians are one of the worst things CCP has implemented in a while, which would be fine if they didn’t have some unexplained mega-hardon for them. They’ve done what, 2 years of patching now on Trigcrap? They are not interesting lorewise (lol, as if they’ve even created enough lore to call it lore), and their ships are a balance nightmare. On an unrelated note, dear Jeebus, these new capsuleer skins are _UGLY_. The old ones were actually pretty decent, but these look like they put zero effort into them. ---

Once they started changing actual skill accel drops to BPCs and adding ore you had to mine… the Blood Raider event in Oct 2018 and the winter event, which did indeed have lots of activities (combat, hacking, ore mining, and gas mining)… but again, no skill accels, just BPCs… basics lost you money to make, so pointless to include them, shoulda just been standards/advanced/extended at that point… And then ofc the Angel event in Feb 2019 was fun on the one hand (the carriers to kill) but horrible in another respect (the loot boxes they added, the whole ticket thing…). Anyway, those 3 events were the signal that things were going wrong, the new events team seemed to take about 6 months off while Trig Invasions took center stage as a perma-event… and ofc ever since then, there’s barely any trace of the old event fun. No skill accels AND no skill accel BPCs now… just free SP from tasks or logging in. I love unallocated SP, don’t get me wrong, but I really miss farming event sites for skill accels. Ah well. And, ofc, all the new event sites, while exciting (the Angel one and the Guri one this year were both fun to complete) have added so many points and scrams that disconnecting in them is about as dangerous as the current Abyss DDOS roulette game some of us are still attempting to play. ---

More shite that I don’t want and have to click eleventy bzillion buttons and other nonsense to get rid of. CCPlease for a proper birthday get rid of red buttons, flashing things, stupid notifications, waste-of-time campaigns and concentrate on, you know, actually improving the game a bit instead. ---

The old events were great, they were set up with various levels of difficulty so that all players could engage in it. Each event had a special storyline plot and the activity tasks were all varied. Having to gather resources to manufacture the accelerators was a good idea, the main problem was the large amount of materials the BPC required. I will admit that using D-Scan to find the Egg-Key in the recent Guristas Event was a cool feature. However the actual event site itself was just generic target and destroy scenario. And with CCP buffing the NPC’s with max Ewar effects, the low level sites in High Sec space basically became advanced content that experienced high skilled players using top line equipment could complete, definitely not designed for new and average skilled players. ---

And the cost of the data site and P3 materials making the basics not worth making, but… yeah, there were so many different things happening with those, pulling in all directions, and making it all a bit of a mess. I hope the new event team gets it figured out in the long run, but if they can’t… just bring back the simple events we had in 2015, 2015 please. Site. room 1. room 2. boss. loot. (permanent, non-volatile) skins, (immediately usable) skill accels, fireworks. etc. nice and simple. Yeah. Well, I was mostly doing the Guristas event with my new frigate/DD only toons, but I was using all 3 in the first room (3 rocket Coraxes, buffer/resist fit)… and then sending 1 through to the boss room. Solo newbies, even after 9 months of training like my new toons, might not have fared as well. Battlecruisers only event starts tomorrow, we’ll see how it goes! ---

So, useless shite mascerading as a Capsuleer Event. Skins (again) , SoCT ships (wow, like you don’t hand those out like EVERY F\*\*\*NG EVENT already). fireworks (again), skillpoints that will wipe out 1/2 days of my training if i was bothered, Clothing (worthless and not usable unless you spend isk to buy the 1 off adaptor. Rewards for being in the game 17 yrs? Nowt … Rewards for being in 10yrs? Nowt… rewards for 5 yrs? Nowt. CCP shows as much loyalty to it’s playerbase as a dead cat under the floorbaords… the smell is always there lingering but you can’t quite place your finger on it. ---

Yeah, not sure what he’s ranting about but there is a Resculpt option available. However that only applies to Body Shape, Skin Complexion and Facial Structure. As far as I know it’s not possible to change the name, gender, race or bloodline of a character. ---
