# 2017 iMac 5k monitor - what Eve screen res settings to make ti look not like crap?

Hi All,

Anyone else on a 5k 28 inch iMac - I’m trying to figure out what screen res so that I can play. Its either WAY to small to read or too fuzzy to play…

Can’t remember where the setting is of the top of my head, but you can adjust the UI text size so that you can read everything. Don’t know how far you sit away from your monitor or anything, but you should have no problems finding a text size that works for you even when playing at 4k.

I have a 5k 27" screen and use 2560x1440 (half the 5120x2880 native resolution). Medium size font, I think. Looks great for me.
