Hey guys, Due to issues with the deployment of the March Release today, Tranquility has been in an unstable state since it was brought back online at roughly 11:45 UTC today after the patch was released. We are currently investigating multiple unrelated performance issues with both the chat system and other areas of Tranquility’s Database. As part of investigating these issues, the cluster has been restarted several times today, and will more than likely be restarted a few more times in the coming hours as we work through the issues. While having pilots log in after restarts occur is great and is helping us test load on the new chat system and EVE’s database, we’d like to ask that you don’t put any valuable ships, modules or drones that you’re not willing to lose in harm’s way for the time being while we continue to investigate problems with the cluster. This will help reduce the need for you to file reimbursement tickets once the cluster is stable again and normal service resumes. Right now, we don’t have an estimated time when Tranquility will be online, accepting connections and available for gameplay, but we recommend that pilots remain out of harm’s way until we give an all clear once the current issues are resolved. Sincerest apologies for the current issues with Tranquility and the extended downtime that it’s causing. For further updates on the current status of tranquility please follow [@EVE\_Status](https://twitter.com/eve_status) and keep an eye on this forum thread. # **CRITICAL ISSUES:** **CHAT SYSTEM:** - THERE IS CURRENTLY A DELAY OF UP TO 10 MINUTES FOR UPDATES TO LOCAL CHAT - OTHER CHAT CHANNELS ARE ALSO AFFECTED BY SUBSTANTIAL LATENCY - WE ARE CURRENTLY WORKING ON A SOLUTION TO THIS WHILE TQ REMAINS ONLINE **BOUNTY SYSTEM:** - A PATCH FOR THE BOUNTY SYSTEM ISSUES HAS BEEN DEPLOYED - MISSED WALLET TICKS WILL BE REIMBURSED IN THE COMING DAYS **UPDATES:** **CURRENTLY MONITORING THE CHAT SYSTEM - WE ARE AWARE OF CHANNEL LAG AND DELAYS** 23:15 UTC - TQ is now in monitoring mode, and is online and accepting connections. 22:45 UTC - TQ has been updated with [March 1.2](https://www.eveonline.com/article/p5w1jb/patch-notes-for-march-2018-release) and is restarting. 19:00 UTC - TQ remains online and stable, however the new chat system is seeing sigificant delays. 18:00 UTC - TQ is now online and is in monitoring mode [after the release of March 1.1.](https://www.eveonline.com/article/p5w1jb/patch-notes-for-march-2018-release) 17:30 UTC - We are currently deploying March 1.1 patch release with a number of fixes. 16:45 UTC - Tranquility is now starting up in VIP mode for testing. 16:00 UTC - TQ will remain offline for the time being while we work on patching several issues. 15:30 UTC - We’ve taken TQ offline again for further chat DB maintenance and investigation. 15:00 UTC - Tranquility is now online and accepting connections after an additional patch. 14:40 UTC - TQ is now restaring in VIP mode for testing. 14:20 UTC - Tranquility remains offline while we work on resolving issues. 14:00 UTC - We’ve taken TQ offline for further investigation - apologies for the inconvenience! 13:40 UTC - TQ is online and accepting connections while we monitor load on the chat system. 13:20 UTC - Investigation is still ongoing into issues - we hope to be back online soon! 13:00 UTC - We’re still currently working on resolving issues with the new chat system. 12:40 UTC - TQ is starting up again in VIP mode for testing. 12:29 UTC - We’ve taken Tranquility offine again in order to investigate ongoing issues. 12:03 UTC - Tranquility is online and accepting connections! 11:55 UTC - TQ is now online and we’re currently testing the chat system in VIP mode. ---

No Local list in chat window at all. Tested chat in local, corp mate did not see it. No Motd in Alliance and Corp chat. No text displayed in Alliance and Corp chat. No member lists in Alliance and Corp chat. I dont want to be mean, and I tried to hold my tounge, but It tastes like this deploy was offshored code, tastes much like it. Adding salt to make it better. ---

all player-made channels are dead, and unable to create any. Join butto doesn’t work, and create button does nothing, not even an error ---

Chat system is all screwed up. Offline people listed, online people not listed, chat windows popping up randomly it seems, with no names and no ability to configure them. Clusterfuck. ---
