Bro… I feel the exact same way. I haven’t played for like 4 years and wanted to come back. Figures the day I come back they roll out new content and a chat system, and they can’t handle the patch with multiple server shutdowns and restarts. Just our luck. ---

Some events are live, and can’t be rolled back, because they actually happen IRL … so sometimes it’s a hard decision to get those backups out and lose everything that did happen till now. Besides, so much effort has already been put into this that maybe the best decision is to carry on till it does work. It’s easy to complain. Indeed, CCP maybe should consider some form of compensation for the players, I’d quite agree on that, but hey, I’m sure they’re doing their best, and that we might not do any better. ---
