Actually. It would be cheaper for CCP to harden their services to DDOS attacks. Then they wouldn’t have to hand out free SP or game time when these attacks happen. So in the end, the lack of successful DDOS attacks would pay for the upgrades to the network. ---

Perhaps they should divert the energy on these DDoS attacks to WOW/Diablo etc, then more people will have to play eve, so more miners to kill, and pvpers to piss off ---

It shows 15000 people online in the launcher but everyone here is getting the error messages and socket closes including me. Anyone know how this can be? Are there a bunch of people who can get in just fine? ---
