This is not the first time something like this has happened. Explained in this thread here [Cannot stay connected for more than a few minutes D/C - #109 by CCP\_Explorer](https://forums.eveonline.com/t/cannot-stay-connected-for-more-than-a-few-minutes-d-c/239540/109) from May 2020. That thread is mostly about WOW! Internet in the USA but also about Virgin Media in the UK.
