Exactly what I was saying when I stated that the devs suck right now!!! I would be really bugged by this bug, and would be doing my best to get it fixed, and send a message daily of a report (even if it is ‘another dead end, but still at it’) ---

This is my exact thought… CCP doesn’t wanna pay for the Overtime so they would rather let the game suffer all weekend. Despicable. We’ll have to keep that in mind when they want us to buy stuff. ---

I get paid a salary, not hourly. I don’t get overtime. I do the overtime in an issue like this and take a day off later on when things are running smoothly. ---

I saw your message at the time and forgot to reply. I don’t think that is a fair representation of what’s going on here, I think it’s much more likely what I said in my post above - the devs probably want to fix it, and management probably doesn’t want to pay to get it fixed at least not when it costs them OT. tldr; if I’m right I feel bad for the devs, even if I’m wrong management are to blame. ---

I think that is why my company pays their engineers’ salaries, so that if an issue like this happens with our clients, we will do the work and not get paid for it, but we can take time off later on without an issue. Same paycheck every paycheck, work 80, or work 20, as long as all is running well ---
