I played EVE for years and stopped around mid 2012. I never read or posted on the forums back in the day but i read all this and its just all so true.  
I was a dick, I went to war with highsec noobs, I stole ice and ore from miners looking to pick a fight. I went into missions to harass and steal loot. I made many friends from those i fought, if somone spoke to me afterwards id often teach them about pvp and or replace their ship. The next time they got a war declared on them id got a message, “want to come help us fight?”. It made a story it made it FUN.
