> **A mask you have me Wear**
> 
> You have forever been my cornerstone,  
> My bright beacon to fight back the darkness,  
> But you’ve cast me far into the unknown,  
> To wear a mask to seem me heartless.
> 
> It’s burden weighs heavy upon my soul,  
> My dents and scars stand testament to this,  
> Through grit I will keep on my given role,  
> Still I yearn for the past and reminisce.
> 
> Your clear blue skies and calm emerald seas,  
> Of pure innocence and conscience clean,  
> Or the simple love beneath our trees,  
> Every night my dream is so serene.
> 
> But wake I must to dance your masquerades,  
> To act and dance till the spotlight fades.
