so can you show me that there is no law against threatening bodily harm and perpetuating the threat by asking others for help to commit said crime? I mean I dont’ know much about science books, but i’m sure if I cut off someones hands in austrailia i’d land my ass in court followed by a stiff jail sentence. ---

We didn’t federate until 1901. Before then, each colony was it’s own separate entity (and the states still maintain their own rights even since federation). ---

so wait. australia doesn’t have lawyers? how do you sue people or have the whole ace attorney thing go down in a courtroom? do you just hire a brit to do your lawyering? ---

I’m sure they are just as corrupt there as anywhere else. but apparently they have no laws about the safety of it’s citizens. they only worry about after a crime is commited, no forethought into preventing crime at all. ---

yeah, so that’s my opinion. and in fact if austrailia is like much of the civilized world, in which I’m pretty sure they are. there are in fact protections for it’s citizens from living in fear from another human being. the fact that I must have a legal degree and citations to prove this to you just shows your lack of empathy for the society you live in. ---

Australia most certainly does, of course. However, Australia didn’t exist in 1900. Quoting a law from 1900 as a Federal Law is stupid. The nation didn’t exist. ---

There are law degrees and if you obtain a degree then you can register to practice law in Australia. But there is no such thing as a Degree in Australian Law.
