I must partially agree with Мs. Del’thul here. Even a Blood Raider, as any Sani Sabik, actually can repent and turn into a responsible human being, provided the right circumstances. Guristas (or Angels, or Seprentis) don’t come even close on the evilness scale, in most cases they’re just in for the profit, a personal loyalty or an old grudge, or just because screw it all, anarchy makes order, let the world burn. But the Nation? It is too advanced for that. It changes the personality and the body and there is no going back. The nanite-infested cadaver can die, but what about the possible infection in the neural matrix? Because when one strays from God, what was once his soul becomes just a batch of data. That can be infected or reprogrammed by whatever devilish minds that pledged themselves to the Sansha cause. Corrupted. Mutated. And… killed. I’d stay well, well away from anyone even remotely associated with the Nation. ---

No I don’t believe so. Ms Oniseki can come off a little direct, and… forceful in the eyes of those who aren’t aware of her nature. Her words are not wholly inaccurate, and do convey the feeling of rightful distrust toward those loyal, past or present, to a faction that ‘uplifts’ millions. ---

To bring a bit of clarity in to this misinformed propaganda fest. There is no de-conversion for True Slaves and True Citizens. As far as I am aware, Silver became neither. He has never been a member of Nation proper. But do go on. Don’t let me get in the way of this thread. ---

So, Evi? The problem you have here is just whose word we have for all that: only his, and yours, which might or might not amount to exactly one real source. The usual appropriate skepticism about conspiracy theories doesn’t apply so well when it’s a hive mind you’re talking about. I like Silver. I like you. But. This is still kind of a thing. Only, this “public service denouncement” seems to be motivated by something pretty dark. There might be reasons to be really suspicious of ex-Nation (and Silver’s not the only one I’ve known), but, this doesn’t seem to be one. ---

Well, it’s YC 120, so someone’s word is really all you have to go on. I mean, I’m still thawing out and I can _already_ hear the hue and cry of you-know-who going “Those are very nice pictures, but I know a chick who can whip up an image like that in twenty minutes. Logs can be falsified. Any bit of heavily irradiated wreckage is a lot like another, flash-frozen corpses all look alike to _me_, and you say you have _witnesses_? Psah! Paid actors!” Evidence is easy. Skepticism unfortunately facile. What’s left is _discernment._ ---

Mh, and yet when someone can’t even offer up the most spurious of evidence or proof, this doesn’t exactly lend any weight to the words either. Anything can be falsified these days, but it’s not quite as effortless as you make it sound. At some point, the effort required to falsify the evidence would be far greater than the benefit gained from doing so in the first place. Just outright lying though? That often takes _less_ effort than the truth. ---
