You know it is not even about that alone. What pisses me off is the context in which it happens. There was so much feedback from players, so much work put in by the community to help gain data for a sensible approach.

Starting with this ridiculously low droprate of Filaments wasn’t the only thing that could have been avoided.
It is more like CCP called for feedback, but completely ignored most of it altogether.

Another example:

[https://www.reddit.com/r/Eve/comments/8n7fku/psa\_you\_can\_safely\_ignore\_the\_suspect\_timer\_from/](https://www.reddit.com/r/Eve/comments/8n7fku/psa_you_can_safely_ignore_the_suspect_timer_from/)

So this thread pops up on r/EVE and some guy tells CCP in the feedback thread about it. Here is the reaction:

> [@EVE Online: Into The Abyss - Known Issues & Reporting](https://forums.eveonline.com/t/eve-online-into-the-abyss-known-issues-reporting/79026/110):

> Interesting, I did not see this. Taking a look.

Alright, not bad you might say. The thing is I reported this sh\*t long ago in the official feedback thread for people testing the new stuff.

> [@Dev blog: Abyssal Deadspace - What Lies Beyond The Filament](https://forums.eveonline.com/t/dev-blog-abyssal-deadspace-what-lies-beyond-the-filament/76890/61):

> [@everyone](https://forums.eveonline.com/groups/everyone) Currently it is possible to avoid being attacked after leaving Abyssal Deadspace In all areas of space! Here are the steps for you to reproduce: Run Abyssal Deadspace and make sure to have one spare Filament with you After exiting the final room and returning to normal space: DON’T DO ANYTHING You have a 60s Invulnerability timer as long as you don’t move/activate modules etc. Open your cargohold, double click the spare Filament After 30-45 seconds the Abyssal Trace will despawn …

What else is left to do than to rage after you realize that these so-called feedback threads are largely ignored?

Rage is the only language CCP seems to understand. It’s pretty sad imo.
