To improve visibility and hype up the event, the Alliance Tournament Art Contest returns in 2026! ## How it works 1. Create any new piece of media, may it be a poster, a meme, a video-advert, a song, or something completely different. Post your submission as answer in this thread before the deadline ends. 2. Media from past tournaments will _NOT_ be accepted. Make something new, there is enough time. The submission has to either celebrate the Alliance Tournament as a whole, the hosting faction (this year Amarr), or roll the drums for [a participating team](https://discord.com/channels/940573867192221696/1004091879878557776/1531253248764285008). 3. Deadline: Submissions are open from Friday, 21st August 2026 00:00 UTC (one week before the pre-elmination start) to Friday, 23rd October 2026 23:59 UTC. (One week before the grand finale.) ## Prizes First Place: 2.000 PLEX Second Place: 1.500 PLEX Third Place: 1.000 PLEX Fourth Place: 500 PLEX More prizes may be awarded for outstanding submissions that don’t make it into the top four. ## Additional Notes - The use of AI is permitted as part of a submission. But it can’t be the only thing utilized. Add your work on top. Low-effort products of AI won’t be eligible for a prize. - Humor is great, but hard to get across. How it was made: - Original lyrics written for AT XXII (the meta shakeup, Swiss format, Halloween finals are all in there) - Vocals and instrumental generated with Suno from my own lyrics and style direction, over multiple iterations - Word-level karaoke sync built with a custom Remotion pipeline - Footage from Alliance Tournament XXI broadcasts and EVE cinematics by Warlock Industries, used with his permission - every shot hand-picked and cut to the beat grid of the song - Channel: Songs of the New Eden — i write songs about EVE ships and battles o7 — see you in the arena. ---

Portraits and names are a staple of my AT posters. For the text, I used some of our team’s internal memes. I think I could’ve done better with a bit more time, but the AT calendar was hectic this year! If the team gets a top 16 slot in the qualifiers I’ll consider updating the poster, perhaps to include a flagship this time. ---

**Trivia:** The background images in the posters feature **real astronomical objects** - galaxies and galaxy clusters. For example, the brownish structures are parts of the spiral arms of **M51 (Whirlpool Galaxy)**, while the dots are real stars. Another image is a **James Webb Deep Field** , where many of the faint red dots are among the earliest galaxies/objects ever observed in the Universe. **Little Red Dots (LRDs)** have puzzled astronomers since Webb first detected them in 2022. They appeared in large numbers when the Universe was only **~600 million years old** , then mysteriously became rare by ~1.5 billion years. They may be a new class of galaxy - or **rapidly accreting supermassive black holes**. Their true nature is still a mystery. The red dot at the center of the central poster is a **real JWST image of a Jupiter-like exoplanet - the first such exoplanet directly imaged and photographed by the James Webb Space Telescope and humanity…** The contours and edges of some of the astronomical structures have been **slightly artistically enhanced for visual clarity and effect** , while remaining based on real astronomical imagery. I used **few** **dozens of high-resolution astronomical images** , precise generation instructions, choosing the related formulas, and references to real-world objects to create the presented visuals. Phew, got it finished and scanned just in time! ATXXII poster featuring a Harbinger Navy Issue and some medium gun spam _vibes_. 🤗 My overall goal is to evoke the feeling of vintage theatre posters. I painted this using watercolor, gouache, and white acrylic ink, 28 x 38 cm on 300gsm Arches paper. The lettering was by far the most time-consuming part and was done by manually sketching out a digital mock-up, then using “grid-fu” to reproduce it on paper.
