# Alpha clone faction re-balance, when?

Of course there is also [the issue of making alpha’s competitive in at least one thing](https://forums.eveonline.com/t/dev-blog-balance-update-with-eve-online-lifeblood/23569/64?u=lord_rolfski).

Together with the still mediocre NPE this is a real deal-breaker imo to draw new players into the game.
