100% agree with the implementation of FTP this change is needed. If everyone was paying a subscription for an account they would care about the wasted time. However with free accounts who cares… The other option is to put a biomas limit of 1 time per 30days. The hackers would just make tons of accounts to bypass this solution. Turning the safety on in empire for alpha is 100% ok. I think alpha can still interact in wars in empire and that is fine. People acting like this is OK after changing to free to play are just d@ck trolls. I am sure these greifers have thousands of FTP accounts why use an omega account slot? Just like level 4 missions being locked away from alpha in empire alpha ganking too needs to be limited. I am sure these ganking hackers on many occasions use windows virtualization programs such as HyperV to bypass the alpha log in limits. An Alpha safety lock in empire space is desperately need to combat this epidemic. what kind of message are we sending to the community that Alphas can’t run level 4 missions but randomly ganking players is ok? Is this the dumpster fire eve wants to be remembered as? In the past year 600,000 players have tried eve online on average 89% quit after 7 days? ---

A semblance of discussion, in fact a repetitive monologue. And insults are not the only reason to get reported. Insults are often the result of repeated provocation and disruption. It’s like combat pvp, avoiding a fight is often the result of better knowledge. Something alpha’s should get into as soon as possible btw. ---

This game is seriously in trouble. I have played it for 13 years. I have noticed a huge decline starting in 2003. The game however in the past 18 months has hit rock bottom. I know the toxicity of this community and how you will respond to the truth why I am wasting my time i can’t fathom… CCP is to blame for the demise of the game but in recent years since the acquisition of CCP by Pearl Abyss the actions of CCP have almost seemed self-destructive. Lets talk about FTP the single worst choice made by CCP in 16 years. You gave every bot and hacker free access to our small community. They have nearly destroyed the economy. They are using hyper v and other window virtualization software to bypass the IP alpha login limits in epidemic scale. They use these program to create disposable bot armies to gank other players daily in empire. We have called for you to turn on the saftey for Alpha clones in empire. why do 89% of new players stop playing eve after only 7 days? I am guessing these ganking alpha bot armies have a lot to do wtih eve online horrific player retention numbers. I also guess policies that allow whales to own 25 accounts and bully the new player who can only afford a single account has something to do with it. CCP own greed has destroyed its game. The amount of CCP employees fleeing CCP in the past 18 months is another huge warning flag. but lets be real FTP is the death throw of any MMO its the last ditch effort save a dying game CCP isn’t the first to follow this course down the toilet. Some games make it through monetization of whales for a time. CCP unfair advantages to them is killing this game. ---

The point is they lost control of the alpha limited login thing years due to hackers using hyper v to avoid the IP restriction placed on alpha clones. A locked alpha safety in empire is only real enforceable solution. To my knowledge CCP thinks its ok to let someone pay for 25 omega accounts and bully others with their own personal army. While this might be legal in CCP mind the majority of online MMO community would frown on this type of play-style.
