so maybe the easy fix to all this is for the alpha or omega symbol we have on our character sheets be made public. That way if people really are using multiple alpha accounts, it will be easier to spot and report. Thats just my 3 cents, 2 weeks into the game as an alpha. ---

By making that info visible it tells someone what your likely SP ability will be. Could make alphas more of a target because the skill cap is made public. Knowledge is power in more ways than one. ---

Well if that happens maybe CCP makes it so that certain things including some of the PI stuff can only be made at a certain sec level so some things only lowsec, some only wh space, some only null, and some generic stuff only high sec, that way only the hisec carebears will cry as the rest still can make decent profit on their own sec stuff outside hisec as only hs will be cluttered with alphas (and omegas) saturating mining, industry and trade. Well at lest I can see that working out but not an expert if it could or would work and not sure CCP cares that much they would implement it or if they would have another plan in mind or just wouldn’t care at all anyway. Btw either way yes the salt flood would be glorious. 😈 ---

That or people will turn to status symbols. “Look I have every Battleship in high sec in the game”. “Look at my skin for them”. Etc cetera, ad nauseam. The problem of status symbols is they themselves rely on two things: 1. Recognition 2. Scarcity If a PvE-only high sec server is made, and everyone has a status symbol, well then it’s nothing to brag about anymore, so number 2 is gone. Who cares if you have 30 Bhaalghorns. If people on that server whine and complain to CCP to make more status symbols to be exclusive, you have the WoW problem of there being a billion status symbols and other people not wanting to learn what they all mean, so you get humblebraggers that have to “modestly” explain their brag of having an AT ship in high sec, so number 1 above is gone. Either way, the whole point of status symbols get erased on PvE-only servers, that coupled with ISK being permanently deflationary (and therefore useless) means there’s not much extrinsic purpose to playing on such a server. ---

When there is no isk sink in high sec, they are going to have to find ways to move the care bears to low sec and encourage ship loss. Else the market will become saturated with minerals and prices tank. ---
