These alpha clone freeloaders are ruining Eve with their inability to pay. They complain and whine so much! If your socioeconomic situation is poor, don’t play games I say. I know it fits a free to play game by name, but I think being an alpha clone is a major disadvantage. It creates lots of flotsam that currently invades Eve and a rapid turnover in players. Go back to 3 week free introduction I say. ---

Imagine crying this hard because other people choose not to bankroll your space-hobby. Alpha clones aren’t ‘ruining EVE’—but your ego-inflated martyr complex might be. If your entire identity in New Eden collapses the moment a free player voices an opinion, that’s not a balance issue, that’s a you issue. EVE’s economy handles trillions of ISK, but apparently it can’t handle one bitter vet with a wallet superiority fetish. And let’s not pretend Omega magically makes someone skilled. Half the flotsam in space are Omegas who subbed once, bought a battleship they couldn’t fit, and became a killmail before they loaded grid. Turnover isn’t caused by alphas—it’s caused by people who meet attitudes like yours and think, ‘Yeah, no thanks.’ So if you’re worried about retention, start by looking in a mirror ---

This has been happening with CCP’s approach for many years, rather than focusing on long-term growth for the game. It’s disappointing, but at this point it seems to be the reality. ---
