That doesn’t matter, it’s a NAVY proph. And if we have to start using faction ships that cost way more to go “see, the zero skill ships are balanced just fine” something is off. ---

I mean you might as well argue a Catalyst is ‘only 1.2m ISK’. But by the time I have fitted it for 850 DPS, it is more like 15m ISK. Given that I was purposefully displaying the fittings _with_ the full fittings cost shown I don’t know why you are still being so argumentative over the matter. The fully fitted Gnosis _is_ 100m and the fully fitted Navy Prophecy _is_ 237m. That was the whole point in the first place. ---

The Nproph, which for whatever reason you tried to hide being Navy, is way more expensive than the Gnosis, which for whatever reason you are trying to disprove. ---

I remember when CCP PROMISED Alpha accounts would have FULL access to their skill points, the ONLY exception for Omegas would be 2x skill speed. I’ll never forgive CCP for this blatant, outright lie. ---

I’ve seen that some people really dislike SOCT ships, or that Alphas can use them, or that they have so many slots or whatever. But what I’ve never actually seen is any sign of excessive use or abuse of them. If they’re so great, you’d expect a lot of kills to show up on zKill. They’re well down on the list. Or people blinging them for L4s or something. But the bling kills aren’t there. Or fleets of SoCTs running Incursions or something. Also not there. Or perhaps thousands of insta-warp Sunesis running valuable goods around high sec. Still not there. In fact the usage I most often see for them is someone asking in a chat channel “What ship do I use for X?” and people say ‘Gila’, or Eagle, or Tengu, or Golem, or Marauder, or whatever. And the guy says “I can’t afford that” or don’t have the skills for that. Then people say well then ship X or Y. “I can’t do those either”. And then the answer is “Well I guess you could fit a Gnosis (or Praxis) to do it”. It appears to be the 3rd (or 4th) choice for many tasks. As Gloria says, jack of all trades, master of none. They’re significantly hampered by CPU, they’re slow as molasses, and the number of slots they have is pretty much the only thing that even makes them useable. The main reason I see people flying them isn’t because they’re powerful or great. It’s because you can pull off all the modules for task X and put on all the modules for task Y and still have a half-decent ship. The versatility is the point, not the power. ---

The reason most people don’t talk about it is because they don’t know (because most people know very little when it comes to ships and fits), not because the ship isn’t very good. Gnosis is a hilariously good platform that is also agile af and it’s very cheap. The bling kills for lvl 4 Praxis aren’t there because if you have the money to bling a Praxis you get yourself a Rattle instead. And just because they’re not top of the list when compared to one specific overpowered pirate faction line, T2 or even T3 doesn’t say very much. Also yes you see Sunesis all the time, hauling 1400m3 on alpha or 1800M3 as omega with sub 2 second align. Also, if it’s not that great then I’m sure you have no problems with them not being seeded any more. I mean, we’re not missing out on much right.
