I don’t do industry, keeping track of market opportunities and dragging a huge stock of items and minerals along isn’t my kind of gameplay. I make my profits selling whatever goods I gather to industrialists. Pick something you too enjoy doing! ---

Right, but are we playing a game for fun or are we working a business? In the end you are just converting playtime into isk. Your “profit” is just how efficient you are at doing so. You could also skip the process entirely, buy the isk with RL money and just do what is fun for you. For some fun is just doing industry stuff without focus on whatever efficiency. ---

Most indy players honestly have no idea how to make isk. look at the null care bears that run 20 accounts eating and selling ore just to plex. They could easily easily make 10x the isk by using that ore but they have no idea how. You will learn in time that people have no idea what they are doing. The more accounts they run the less they know. ---

I would rather say that you don’t know the difference between the playstyles…if i run one account, i focus on the highest possible return of my actions…if i run multiple accounts the focus is completeley different as then i focus on scaling the actions. Also if you have hit a certain base level of income, maximizing it further is just not necessary with respect to the effort it would take to do so as you can instead just scale up the operation further. ---

I have seen this argument before. The last guy that pushed that argument ran 7 miners and 1 booster. He ate the null ore shipped it to jita and sold it. Plexed all 8 accounts and made a small profit. He said “if you are so good then let’s see who can make more isk in a month” or something along those lines. His 8 accounts selling null ore or my 1 account doing whatever. I went to HS and made ammo. I made more profit than he did. Matter of fact I found ammo so profitable that’s all I do now. I think plexing 1 account cost 4 or 5 billion then. Assume it was 5 billion then he needed to come up with 40B before he could even start making a profit. He has now dropped down to 4 accounts and uses the ore and makes in 1 month what he was making in a year. (Some exaggeration yea but the point still stands) This last week they gave away 1 week of omaga for free. I played for 4 hours a day for 3 days and pulled 1b just from ammo. I’ll say it with my chest. The more accounts people run the less they know. ---
