1. Just about every item in the game can be reduced to its PLEX value, ie its real life monetary value. 2. If the player numbers are dwindling, but CPP’s cost of operation increases with inflation, new methods of generating revenue become neccessary. 3. The old guard of this game probably hasn’t spent a single cent on this game in years. They buy PLEX and multi-box. That means the income that allows this game to operate is skewed towards the “new player” end of the spectrum. That means that catering streams of income for CCP naturally is skewed towards new players. It means that the reason the game still exists is probably because of all of the very things you’re complaining about. 4. Pure speculation, but I feel as if CCP has a very good reason for not caring one iota about the player base who are not willing to put their money where their mouths are and spend money on the game to keep it online and pay for the salaries of the people behind the scenes who make this game possible. Suggestion: Instead of only complaining about new ways CCP tries to generate income, suggest some new ways of generating income which don’t affect the market in the way you wish. Even more importantly, you should suggest things that all of you fat cats who haven’t spent money on the game in lord knows how long would actually spend money on! ---

You know… it just blows my mind how much money CCP could make by introducing concepts found in other games, here are some simple ideas: - More incredible ship skins at a more frequent rate. Alliance or corporation sponsored skins. - In-game alliance / corporation outfit swag or alliance / corporation structure skins and / or visuals. - Special customized effects for module activation or personnel anchorable deployables. - Special custom visuals and effects for billboard advertisements or in-space displays. - I would drop $500 without hesitation on 5 additional corp hangars or a single custom item-group specific hangar (_like BPCs, BPOs, module organization_) similar to what POE has for inventories. _ **Hell, I’d probably spend only 25 seconds of my life contemplating a $1,000 EVE purchase before rabidly credit card swiping some additional corporation hangars.** _ ---

Most of the spenders are in fact older, established players. ---
