**Background:** There are two things I like about Eve: Minmatar ships and theorycrafting so I’ve came up with a challenge: Can you do burners in Jaguar? Turns out the answer is **YES** The fits below are not the cheapest or the fastest to kill but that wasn’t the objective of this challenge. You’ll need a dedicated Jaguar for each burner (rigs) but I’ve tried to reuse as many modules between the fits as possible. Most (not all!) fits are designed to be “safe” as in: you don’t need overheat and you can tank all the damage and can’t be killed unless you run out of ammo by accident:) Some of this work is based on [excellent guide by Jori McKie and Chainsaw Plankton. ](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1SAv6bnGM-5etLoPHxVtCsbsz8Q8feN5CFSEgUZclPLI/pub#h.8e835a3hf90) All fits tested on Sisi and TQ. **Implants:** All fits assume the following implants: - Mid-grade Crystal Alpha - Mid-grade Crystal Beta - Mid-grade Crystal Gamma - Mid-grade Crystal Delta - Mid-grade Crystal Epsilon - Mid-grade Crystal Omega - Zainou ‘Deadeye’ Missile Projection MP-705 - Inherent Implants ‘Squire’ Capacitor Management EM-805 - Zainou ‘Snapshot’ Rockets RD-905 - Zainou ‘Deadeye’ Rapid Launch RL-1005 You can upgrade to High-grade and \*\*6 as you can’t be podded by NPC and chance of a gank is tiny but there’s no need. **Drugs:** All fits assume you have the following drugs AT ALL TIMES - Synth Blue Pill Booster - Agency ‘Hardshell’ TB3 Dose I If you CBA to pop a 2mil pill every 1h then this post is not for you:) **Skills:** Don’t even bother trying those if you don’t have most relevant skills at V. Burners are challenging and using nonoptimal ship just adds even more difficulty. **Drones:** For most burners, drones are next to useless however they can be used to disengage when the fight is not going your way. NPCs will switch aggro and scram drones instead giving you small window to escape. **Fits:** - **Daredevil** : orbit at 10km, time to kill ~2:00 - **Dramiel** : tank’n’spank, time to kill: ~3:50 - **Curor** : this one sucks, DPS is just not there, orbit at 7km, time to kill: ~6:00, you’re better off using Wolf fit from the guide above. - **Succubus** : tank’n’spank, time to kill: ~4:00, very similar time to kill from another Wolf fit from the guide. - **Worm** : probably most difficult burner to execute. You have to get within 18km range (“slingshot” by Worm) (OH MWD for no more than two cycles, preheat web and scram for extra range) and establish 5km orbit. You’ll have two attempts max, otherwise you’ll burn out the modules and die however you can disengage by aligning out and MWD, Worm will give up eventually. Once in orbit, tank’n’spank, time to kill: ~3:30 That’s it. Don’t say “just use Nergal/Garmur/blabla”. That was not the point. I also have fits and tactics for all Team burners.
