Gank is a mash up of the phrase **gan** g **k** ill. It’s any form of tactic that revolves around using a vastly larger force to ambush and force a kill. Usually in the form of X vs 1.

Certain EVE players beat on the drum that this **only** applies to high sec suicide ganks, and that 10v1 in any other part of space doesn’t count because…reasons.
