Good morning, I’m pleased to say that the auction ended with a spirited round of high bidding. Well done to all who showed such enthusiasm for laying hands on Orlon’s hide but of course there can only be one winner! We have begun the process of verifying the apparent high bid winner and arranging for an exchange of the assets. Assuming everything goes off without a hitch, there will be an update post-exchange. Once again, thanks to all for making this such an exciting auction, I know I was thrilled by it. I think even Orlon got a little bit excited, he’s such a sado-masochist, you know. I personally bid in excess of 20 billion ISK, and that was in a pool of me, myself, and I. Any capsuleer group should be able to pull in 50 billion ISK or much higher. Anyone voting 10 or 25 billion ISK is certainly incorrect. ---

The government - and especially the RJD - has many more pressing concerns for its money. Throwing billions away to a bunch of Thukker criminals would be subsiding further law breaking, and for one, albeit notorious slaver? Best case scenario, a capsuleer organisation pays the money and hands over Zashev to the RJD anyway. Worst case, he gets bought by some crazies who torture him to death. Wait, maybe that’s the best case scenario? ---

Eh, a few billion may have convinced some people if they got their hands on the guy, you know. In any case, it seems they are not too worried about him. What is clear now is that the summit has established itself as the prime market for rather disliked people. I look forward to future visits from Seykal headhunters and the interesting company they may bring along- would be fun to find out who goes bankrupt first or who ends up having the largest collection. Kind of like these board games you play with family and friends to have some good time. ---
