It has nothing to do with friends. He’s simply doing it wrong. He is not using a stasis webifier range bonused ship, he is not at 0 on the gate and his webber is not approaching the cloaked freighter before the freighter starts the warp. Even in his last attempt where his webber is in a better position directly on the gate, it still takes him 7 seconds to get the webs applied. More than enough time for a suicide tackler to get you. I get my freighter in warp in around 5 seconds unless EVE conspires against me.

Firstly, you don’t need a bonused ship. An atron will do the job just fine. Two is better, one to go ahead while the other waits for it’s aggression timer to end.

Secondly, all you’ve done just now is admit that it can be done faster, so your point about him being slow is moot.

Third, you missed his main point. The faster you’re moving, the less chance someone has to spot, track, or scan you and your haul.

Fourth, none of this is a refutation of the fact that flying a solo freighter without escort, or even just with a single webber, is done at your own risk.

I have told you that this guy is getting himself into trouble and that his way of webbing shows clearly how much time gankers have to bump or suicide tackle your freighter even if you web. 🙂

Your video shows exactly how wrong webbing gives gankers more than enough time to scan and tackle you. Next time, link a video that demonstrates it properly. Spoiler alert: That’s what another guy did in the past in another topic trying to show me how quick webbing is. That video still proved my point that a webber cannot counter a suicide tackler. 🙂

I have never talked about refuting solo freighter viability. All I do is putting your wrong or falsely portrayed information into perspective and correct it. I don’t care if you want to make people use an escort. I am only here to correct your wrong and incomplete statements regarding webbing. 🙂

</div>

I honestly don’t care anymore, dude.

EDIT: You haven’t actually demonstrated anything I’ve said is wrong, especially since I know from first hand experience that I’m right. What I don’t care about here is your opinion. I do care about the game’s mechanics, I just don’t care about your opinion, because you’re actually just repeating a whole bunch of stuff that comes up over and over and over again for the past six years I’ve been playing, and is repeatedly shot down not just by players who have actual experience as both haulers and gankers, but by the devs as well, hence the page I linked from CCP explaining why it’s not considered an exploit: because webbing is a known easy counter to it. One of many, actually.

So I’m not going to argue with you. Not because I don’t have arguments, but because I’m sick of repeating them every month that this thread comes up. The constant expatiation of the same old tired lines from carebears and people who don’t know how to play the game, or don’t understand it, is just boring now. CCP aren’t going to change it, because it isn’t broken, and it is balanced, so this whole thread is literally a repeat of last month’s, which was a repeat of the month’s before, and around the carousel goes, every month of every year that bumping has been a thing. And what have CCP done about it? Absolutely nothing. Because as far as mechanics are concerned, it’s a non-issue. It’s a personal problem that a few players have, and nothing more.

So I’ll bid this thread adieu with a final note: git gud. If you want to convince me that you know what you’re talking about in this game, then show me a KB that demonstrates you at least have a rudimentary understanding. And if you’re too afraid to post with your main, then HTFU as well.

So again, your idea of consequences for bumping is other players being disrupted and then blown up by concord. So, you’re addicted to disruptive, predatory behavior, and you can’t comprehend anything but that behavior continuing openly. Again, you say “fly with friends” as if there should be no choice between fight or flight. Bumping glitches all ability for pilots to counter except by receiving aggro from concord, you rely on this, you’re utterly dependent on it to sustain your toxic behavior, you’ll say or do anything as a means to those ends. You are so obsessed with forcing others to do as you wish, in an online game, that you abandon all logic and just keep repeating the same tired logical fallacies that bullies have been using since the dawn of time. “If nobody stops me, i’m in the right, regardless of facts.” Kindergarten.

This sad mentality limits the growth of the game and the amount of available content. Players = content, more players = more content, sad addicts telling people to quit = no content.

It’s called a sandbox, and anyone who thinks only 1 aspect of the 4 player archetypes carries importance is generally toxic, whether they’re addicted to forcing pvp combat on people, or whether they’re running bot fleets, players who think everyone should play like them, and only their style of play matters, are never right.

It doesn’t stop people from wanting to discuss a topic. See AFK cloaking for example. And all the “Not on my bridge!” comments don’t make anyone’s head turn.

Sandbox means that you can attempt to do anything that you want, which includes stopping others from attempting what they want.

What you want is for CCP to enable you to inflict consequence on an activity that you don’t like, without paying the price that others pay to inflict consequence on activities they don’t like.

Get it into your sad little pathetic mind that calling everything you disagree with toxic is not conductive to having a proper discussion.

I’ll link you a great find by @Black_Pedro in [Balancing an mmo](https://forums.eveonline.com/t/balancing-an-mmo/87663/25?u=notthesmartestcookie)

EVE is a PvP sandbox. You can sandbox all you want, but in the end other players may decide they want to engage you in PvP, and the developer of the game is on the record that this is proper - even encouraged - player behavior.

Again, when a “sandbox” experiences attempting forcing of players into only 1 of the 4 archetypes, it limits population growth, and therefore new player content.

Every player’s experience matters, not just yours.

People are being reasonable and they don’t all want bumping to be removed. What most want is to have some limitation on the time it can be used.

Even warp disruption, which is intended to stop people from warping, can be fought. There are then no infinite-sized warp bubbles either, which only further shows how CCP actually puts a limitation on such features.

Yet bumping is simply an effect of the physics engine and can be used in the same way. It only didn’t bother most players, because nobody thought of using it systematically to stop someone to play their game for hours.

So if you think that’s ok, then we should have warp disruptors, which require no cap and have no fitting costs.

Thank you for admitting that you were wrong on trying to change EVE gameplay. But you too can be redeemed through the ingame purchase of a Mining Permit.
