# Burst Jammers to reset drone assist

Pretty much what the title says. When a drone / ship has its target lock broken, the drone assist setting should also be reset.

Why? The drone doesn’t lose connection woth your ship if it’s jammed… why should it lose connection with your ally? The ally isn’t locked by the drone…

Burst Jammers are short ranged powerful jammers. They require the jamming ship to get close. I could see this as a viable tactic where it temporarily stops all drones )including your own sides) in range for 10-20 seconds.

This would actually add some drone management tactics when dealing with enemy drones either attacking, defending or healing a ship. A burst jammer place in front of your fleet could also disable an incoming drone wave, I like the idea
