Hello,

i have found the following website:

> **[System Requirements](https://support.eveonline.com/hc/en-us/articles/5885219196828-System-Requirements)**
>
> All hardware regardless of platform must support the following minimum requirements:
>
> CPU and operating system must be 64 bit
> GPU
>
> with 1024MB VRAM or more
> that supports Shader Model 3
> that support...

One of my old lenovo laptops t420s has the following hardware:

![hardware1](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/eveonline/original/4X/b/8/2/b82ffe5a847020e922e5c9fefd4b8d2924a8b211.jpeg)

The GPU has 1024 MB vram and supports according to the site

> **[NVIDIA NVS 4200M Specs](https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/nvs-4200m.c1741)**
>
> NVIDIA GF119S, 810 MHz, 48 Cores, 8 TMUs, 4 ROPs, 1024 MB DDR3, 800 MHz, 64 bit

DirectX 12

If i install windows 10 on this laptop, it is possible to start eve online with this system?

Regards

Yes. With everything on low settings and all effects and sound turned off. You haven’t specified how much RAM you have , if 4 GB you will be limited to a single client.
There’s also the option to turn off graphics now . Ctrl + Shift + F9 in game.

P.S. Don’t expect to run smoothly.

There’s a website called “can I run it”

I don’t feel like searching to get the link, and if you get an “s” wrong in the URL it sends you to a shady looking site that I’ve always quickly left.

It’s a bunch of links for programs that will “keep your drivers up to date”

I’d trust the other kind of sites before I trust that. 😁

With
Ctrl + Shift + F9 in game.
i get 5 FPS more and at this moment i have 45 FPS with low settings. Thats enough for my char.

Thanks.

@Florian_Schwarzkopf I have no issue getting it running in Linux OS, Windows 10 should be less of an issue. [Read here this about latest test for Linux Manjaro OS](https://forums.eveonline.com/t/todays-launcher-update/430147/25). The hardware on the box in use is well over 12 years old and the GPU is a passive video card. Even with the games graphics running the FPS is about 40. If you are having issues with the Windows 10 OS, you might want to use debloat on your system to get more resources. Deboat scripts remove unused apps and turn off things like Cortana. After all, we all know Cortana is a rouge AI and betrayed us in Halo 5.
